- SGSteven GuptonApr 4, 20261.0My father died last October and when it came time to have the funeral reception I ordered Chick-Fil-A (Southpark). It was a large order for us and we needed it delivered. I went to the Mall Chick-Fil-A because frankly I thought I'd get better service. They were smaller and always less busy than the store in front of Walmart. The day of the funeral and reception they delivered it between 30-40 minutes late. I was miffed based on what we paid, but they tried to make a good gesture by giving us a coupon for a free small catering tray to use in the future. Today I go to redeem it and I get the coldest reception, the two employees I spoke to acted like they didn't care, with one going to speak to the manager on duty to see if they could honor it but came back to say they needed a 24 hr notice. (They never said this when they gave me the coupon, nor is it anywhere on the coupon.) Nobody in line mind you at 11:35 am this morning. The employee handed me the coupon back and said plainly "We can't do it without a 24 hr notice." No "I'm sorry" or anything. I looked at the employees standing there at the registers and they all just stared at me. I took the coupon and left. On a whim, I went to the other Chick-Fil-A in front of Walmart. They're always crazy busy. I spoke to the manager, told them what I was trying to do -get a tray for my family, pick up anytime today would be fine, I'm serving it tomorrow- and they said "We can do that." The two managers I ended up speaking to were the Drive thru Director and Daryl. They were both kind and most importantly, they showed they cared. Lesson learned! That Chick-Fil-A is crazy busy for a reason -great customer service on top of a great product. I feel like the leadership and employees of Chick-Fil-A (Southpark) need to learn from them. Next time, I'll go to the busier store. Somehow even being crazy busy, they still show they care.

They don't give a crap about their employees or the people that order food from here. Go to Cane's you'll get better service and better food
