  The food is good at the south battlefield location but today it was 88 degrees out and inside the store it was like a sauna. I asked the staff about the air conditioning and they said they have a very weak air conditioning system that cannot keep up with really hot weather. My wife and I were eating there and we were getting sick it was so miserable in the restaurant. I think it’s time to upgrade your air conditioning system or at least put some fans in temporarily.

  We’ve been here many times since opening and nearly every time we go in there it’s not very clean. Dining room isn’t kept up, trash overflowing and the food service area is not tidy. Usually, one item I want is out of stock. Today it was brown rice and last time it was tortillas- these are main ingredients! The main thing I’m grossed out about is the gloves are not changed after using the register. I shouldn’t have to ask for employees to get new gloves after handling money and touching the register. Gross! Please train your employees on basic hygiene when making my food. Thank you!

  Ahh, so I came here anticipating a complaint from an unruly customer that the employees of Chipotle Great Bridge had to deal with today. The customer is Alina. While waiting in line, Alina came in, slammed her food on the glass and berated the young employee for a solid 5 minutes. She claimed each visit has been terrible, said the employees are all bad at their jobs, and overall was over the top disrespectful. After her tirade against the young employee, she was asked to leave by a CHESAPEAKE DETECTIVE (badge and all) that happened to be dining in with her partner. As for the conversation with the employee that called her out on her insane behavior, I can not speak on. But good for them for sticking up for their coworker who was no longer present serving customers (probably true that said employee was crying. I dont blame her due to the berating she had to take from this "customer") Alina, you are a horrible person for trying to play victim and lie on these people when, in reality, you are the problem. #teamGBchipotle #the best #bowlonfleek

  I was really happy that this location finally opened here. But I will absolutely never come back to this location. This is already the third time I’ve had the same issue here. The portions at this location are ridiculously small compared to every other Chipotle. Today my children, who are 15 and 12 years old, stopped by to order a burrito and a bowl. It’s not the first time to them order here food! At other Chipotle locations, the burrito is usually so full that they have to wrap it in two tortillas. Here, it was about half the size. I let that go, but the bowl was only filled halfway. I took the bowl inside and waited in line. While I was waiting, I watched the three customers ahead of me receive bowls filled all the way over the top. I firmly explained that this was not the first time this had happened. I told them I didn’t want them to simply add more food to my bowl—I wanted them to make me a new one and serve it the way they should in the first place. They made me a new bowl, but as I was leaving, one of the employees told me that I had made another employee cry and said that I didn’t have to come back anymore.😳 Then a woman standing behind me—she wasn’t a police officer, but she had a firearm on her belt—approached me and asked me to leave the restaurant. On top of all that, this location is consistently very dirty. This is, without a doubt, the worst Chipotle I have ever been to. Answer for Coastalife You really think you’re fooling anyone? It’s pretty obvious from your comment that you work at this restaurant. I’m confident the restaurant has security cameras, and the entire sequence of events can easily be verified. I did not throw the food. I placed it on the counter, opened it, and showed the employees why I was upset. I had just watched three customers ahead of me receive what is normally considered a standard portion at this restaurant, while my child’s bowl had food barely covering the bottom. Instead of acknowledging that a mistake had been made, your staff immediately questioned whether the food had even been purchased there. After I told them my children were sitting in the car and could come inside to confirm it was their meal, I was told they couldn’t remake the bowl but could only give me extra food in separate containers. I explained that wasn’t what I wanted. I wanted the meal prepared correctly, the way it should have been from the beginning. They made new boll, I said “thank you,” and I walked toward the exit. Then one of your employees stopped me and said that I had made a young employee cry. I responded that employees should simply do their job correctly. She then told me, “If you don’t like it, don’t come back.” Only after that did the detective/security officer who had been standing behind me ask me to leave. I was not escorted out of the restaurant. The lack of professionalism shown by the staff is exactly why this location has received so many similar complaints. Your review doesn’t change what happened, and if anyone wants to know the truth, the security footage can confirm the entire incident.

  Just go to Moe’s across the street. This location is trash. I swore off Chipotle a while ago then decided to give it another shot since this location opened and I don’t get the hype. How are you going to straight faced tell me you’re out of basically everything and then not offer to make it right in any way?
