  I ordered the simply salmon with mashed potatoes. Everything was good until I felt uncomfortable seeing grey at the bottom of the salmon. The manager said it was cooked thoroughly but I still didn't feel comfortable eating it so they were nice enough to make me another one. Unfortunately, I decided to take it home since I had eaten everything else and would have been full by the time they cooked another one. Our waitress was Mackenzie! She was so awesome with her customer service skills. Despite there were hiccups along the way she never got upset with handling everything. That's rare to see from a waitress these days. She kept her cool through all of it. My husband and I will be sure to ask for her the next we dine there. It made the experience having her as our server/waitress so much better. The only suggestion I was have for Carrabba's would be to not have the air conditioning so low where you can't enjoy your meal. We understand you have your cooks and staff walking around constantly making sure they stay cool but remember your customers need to feel comfortable during their dining experience. They don't need to feel as if they need to rush through their meal to get to more comfortable conditions from the freezing temperatures to thaw out!   Take out food was bad and certainly not worth the price. “Sautéd” broccoli was really boiled mushy and not seasoned. Grilled veggies were not grilled and seasoned to the point they were un-eatable. Chicken entrees were okay, not great. 70$ for two disappointing entrees.

  Tonight, we experienced excellent service. I mean, everything was accounted for, and Tonia definitely led the way. It was a massive display of food and great customer service. The food service was phenomenal. Everything arrived hot and quickly. We were really impressed. We would recommend this Carrabba’s any day. The team here really knows what they’re doing, and they run like a well-oiled machine. Trust us, we know Carrabba’s. We’ve eaten at them all across the country, but this one is special.

I highly recommend visiting Carrabba’s Italian Grill located at 1217 N Battlefield Blvd, Chesapeake, VA 23320 if you are looking for outstanding Italian cuisine, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere. My experience was fantastic from the moment I walked through the door until the time I left. The staff made me feel genuinely welcomed, appreciated, and comfortable throughout my visit. The restaurant was clean, inviting, and created the perfect setting for an enjoyable dining experience. The food was absolutely delicious and exceeded my expectations in every way. Each dish was prepared with care, packed with flavor, and beautifully presented.   I visited yesterday with my family for a late lunch. Roughly 3pm. I am utterly shocked by what we experienced. First, the entry and door were pure filthy. I was not used to this level of less from a Carrabbas. We asked to be seated in the bar area as the dining room was bright and uncomfortable like a cafeteria. It was a struggle to get this done, but after we were seated it went really downhill from there. After 15 mins the server came from behind the bar and was very beside herself. She said she was thrown into this, only works one day a month and that she was losing it. I was speechless. She proceeded to tell me nothing is stocked for the bar and we cant order anything. She then said she asked a co worker for help and they said no. I said well this is going to be a bad experience and she walked off crying so we left.
