  We had breakfast at this lovely cafe two days ago. I only wish that I could eat breakfast there every day. The avocado toast is the best I've ever eaten. Perfectfully ripe avcado spread on two thick toasted slices of sourdough bread, topped with an egg-over-easy. All of this was served on a bed of fresh lettuce and sweet cherry tomatoes dressed with a perfectly balanced light vinaigrette. My coffee was brewed from freshly ground beans. I will dream about this delicious meal and try to replicate it at home.

  Went for brunch today and there was hardly one else there, which made me a little concerned, but I think people just don’t know about this gem. The food was so good. This is the best brunch Ive had Charlottesville. Everyone I was with enjoyed the food. This is listed as a coffee bar but the food appears to be cooked fresh out of the pink grouse kitchen, and it was amazing. Highly recommend!

  What an unexpected pleasure! This coffee shop is lovely! It is in a large house with LOTS of seating, indoors and out. Our group had coffee and mimosas. Would definitely return.
