  Our first time here today. Food was great, we enjoyed a lot. But we were forced to tip 18% (initially we tipped around 10%) which is not so good for the service we received.

  Absolutely the worst service I have ever encountered. The staff was incredibly rude and did not come to our table to check on our food or anything, not even once. She was just sitting in her chair and glared at us and was on her phone. Food was also not good at all, mediocre. I told my husband to not leave a good tip and he was generous enough to still leave a 10% tip and then I heard the lady tell the other staff in Korean (I am fluent in Korean and understood everything) how we left a small tip. She was incredibly rude and snarky. I called them back on the phone to ask if the women in the restaurant were the owners and then the line got disconnected. I tried to call them back and they turned their store phone off. WOW, this was the most insane and unpleasant restaurant experience ever.

  Noticed I never submitted this from back on January 18 or 19. So submitting it now. My girlfriend and I came here later at night after we got home from a long road trip. The older lady took our order and our food came out pretty quick. Food was all fine but when it came time to pay, the old lady told me that I didn’t tip the minimum requirement of 18% and that I need to change my tip that I wrote on the receipt. I tipped closer to 15% because we did not get any refills on drinks nor side dishes. I kindly reminded her that there is no requirement to tip and it is fully at the discretion of the customer. She aggressively shoved the receipt into my hands with a pen and told me to change it because everyone else tips 18%. I did not want to escalate and start arguing with an old lady over a dollar and a few cents so I changed the tip and left. This used to be my go to late night restaurant choice but I have not returned to this restaurant ever since this incident occurred. I happen to be a part of a lot of conversations about how tipping has gotten out of hand these days and I still tell this story to my friends, family, and coworkers to this day.

  First time visit and will definitely be back. The soups, side dishes, and the seafood pancake were delicious. Can't wait to go back. I wish I had gotten a picture of the huge pot they use to make their soups. Next time.

  Ordered delivery. Osam bokkeum but I wanted spicy porkbelly and no squid. They gave me spicy sliced pork and left a note telling me to order the spicy sliced pork next time. If I wanted sliced pork, I would have ordered that and not the dish that has porkbelly in it's description. Tasted good but I only ate a few pieces because I was annoyed.
