  This is truly one of the best ramen spots in the DMV! I lived in Japan for a couple of years, so I’m definitely a bit of a ramen snob, and this is the closest I’ve found to the real thing. The broth is rich and flavorful, the noodles have the perfect texture, and everything tastes incredibly authentic. The real star of the show is the Buta Kakuni — absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Their gyoza is also off the charts and easily some of the best I’ve had in the area. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable for the quality you’re getting. If you’re craving authentic Japanese ramen in the DMV, this place is a must-try.

  My experience here was overall pretty good! The waiters were nice the atmosphere was very pleasant and the food was absolutely fantastic!!! I ordered the sake chicken and since I do like spicy food I added some chili oil on the side (which was only 1.50, if I remember correctly) and ouhhhhh when I tell you it was delicious the spicyness added a nice touch to it but I’ve had it without the chili oil and it’s still just as good so I say it’s a very good place , 😊😊 will become a regular here and oh there’s this waitress named pinky and she was sooo sweet as well.

  A solid ramen spot in Arlington. The space is large and comfortable, making it easy to grab a table even with a group. The staff are friendly and attentive, and service is smooth from start to finish. The ramen is the highlight: rich and flavorful broth paired with well-textured noodles makes for a very satisfying bowl. They also offer a nice variety beyond ramen, including donburi and sushi, which is a plus if you’re dining with others who want options. The fried chicken was good but could use a bit more seasoning to really stand out. Overall, a dependable go-to for ramen in the area.

  Pinky and the staff is so inviting and welcoming all the time! I love coming here! The Ramen and all of their other dishes are always SO fresh! I have had various appetizers from the wings, calamari sushi nothing is ever too heavy. They just added New drinks on the menu the guava drink is pretty good and refreshing and not too sweet. The espresso martini it is absolutely delicious and creamy not watery at all as some can be! Highly recommend this place it never disappoints.

  I have been to Boru at least five times in the past six months and I love this place! It is 20 minutes from my home and it has become a favorite lunch spot when I have my monthly meetings in Arlington. I particularly like the tantan-men ramen and the firecracker roll. The servers understand the meaning of the word “service.” I have felt like a guest of honor on every visit. There is a secret bonus for bourbon lovers that you would never expect from a ramen/sushi place. Specifically, they (presently) sell shots of Pappy Van Winkle for $50! I have never seen it for less than $100. So, that is worth the trip all by itself. I have had three of the house special cocktails and they were all of the highest craft. I especially liked the Pink Sunset.
