  I have celiac disease and dining out can often be stressful but Ana was incredible. She was very knowledgeable about not only my allergy but cross contamination and made sure to double check with the kitchen to make sure everything I’d be eating would be safe. Rarely receive this kind of great knowledgeable service that made me feel so comfortable.

  This restaurant is simply amazing. I wish we had one like it in Wisconsin. You can tell the locals adore it. Everyone is so polite. And the food is out of this world. Oh my god, this place gets 25 out 5 stars. No joke! We absolutely loved it. I wish I could take it home to Wisconsin with me. 😆

  AMBAR was a good spot to happen upon. From the moment we entered we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. They explained the menu and the upcharges for the premium and drink options. Get both. Premium gives you access to the whole menu and the drink upcharge get you 3 drinks of your choice. The lamb chops were yummy. We asked for a second serving without the sauce. The bread and dips is a good way to start while waiting. Get more bread. AMBAR is a great social place to go with friends.

  This was a horrible experience. After ordering three small appetizers, we were told that we were on the all-you-can-eat option at $50 per person. Apparently, the hostess had given us the all-you-can-eat dinner menu instead of the à la carte menu. We explained the situation and made it clear that we had not knowingly chosen the all-you-can-eat option. However, the waitress refused to void or adjust the charges and told us we would still be charged the full amount. Since we were already being forced to pay for the plan, we ended up ordering four additional items just to get some value from it. In the end, we were stuck with a bill of approximately $130 after taxes and drinks for something we never intended to order. The restaurant should have acknowledged the menu mistake and corrected the bill instead of making the customer pay for an error caused by the staff. Very disappointing customer service and an unnecessarily frustrating experience.

  Ambar is a wonderful introduction to Balkan cuisine, and the unlimited brunch is definitely worth experiencing. The selection is impressively varied, allowing us to discover a wide range of dishes and flavors throughout the meal. Everything we tried was delicious and flavorful. Despite the abundance of choices, the quality remained consistent from one dish to the next. It is the kind of brunch where you can take your time, explore different specialties, and genuinely enjoy every round. The food is satisfying, and we didn’t leave hungry! We would happily return.
