  Just alright. BBQ chicken was tasty, but was very dry and overcooked. Spam musabi is good, but a sauce would help elevate it. The kiosk to order being in a separate room on the other side of the food hall is fairly confusing and inconvenient.

  This is a wonderful lunch place for the family. I got the Katsu bowl and the steamed veggies were fantastic, the chicken was crisp and juicy and it was very filling. My companions got the Spam Musabi (loved it) and the Teriyaki burger, that had big pieces of meat and the bun was nice and toasted, not too salty and the fries were good!

  First time visiting this place. It’s very confusing. They’re part of a shared dinning area and orders are placed at the kiosks up front. If you don’t opt in to the text option to know when your food is ready it’ll just be put out with the DoorDash stuff. The loco moco patties were overcooked and dry and the gravy tastes more like soy sauce than the brown gravy I had in Hawaii. it ruined the whole meal for me. This will be my only visit.

  Meat wasn't great; beef was not tender, pork had no flavor, garlic rice is literally just plain rice with raw jarred minced garlic on top. Expensive for what it is.

  🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A True Taste of Aloha — The Ultimate BBQ Fix! I had a massive craving for authentic Hawaiian comfort food today and wanted a spot that would take me right back to the islands. This was my first time checking out L&L Hawaiian Barbecue, and it absolutely delivered. If you've ever been to Hawaii, you know that nothing captures the local culture quite like a traditional plate lunch, so I went all in and ordered the BBQ Mix Plate. From the very first bite, the memories came rushing back. It’s the perfect sampler if you want a bit of everything: The BBQ Beef & BBQ Chicken: Incredibly tender, perfectly marinated, and packed with that sweet, savory, garlicky teriyaki glaze that hits the spot. The Kalbi Short Ribs: These were the star of the plate. Beautifully grilled, juicy, and falling right off the bone with an awesome char. The Sides: A real plate lunch lives and dies by its scoops. The white rice was perfectly sticky, and the macaroni salad was spot-on—creamy, simple, and exactly the way they make it on the islands to balance out the rich BBQ meats. The portions are incredibly generous (definitely enough for two meals), the flavors are purely nostalgic, and it’s the closest thing to a backyard island cookout you can get. If you want to reminisce about your time in Hawaii or just want a massive, delicious plate of comfort food that hits the soul, do yourself a favor and get the BBQ Mix. Mahalo, L&L!
