    I came to this Safeway looking for a specific item for my Aunt, and I could not find it anywhere in the store. I was looking around for help when I came across this young man named Yoel who offered his help without me even asking yet. I was really surprised since he was stocking shelves and stopped everything he was doing just to make sure I found my item. I will be coming to this Safeway ONLY from now on. It's amazing how hard working this young man is and how he went out of his way to ensure that I had good service!!!!!

    The cashier Yoel is tough as a nail. But is very friendly and hardworking. Same goes for Leonard (I guess the training manager)

    I've purchased my groceries at this Safeway and the associates are nice most of the times for 6 years. But there are routine homeless people near entrance of the store and most of them were nice, but some were more demanding. I wish Safeway handles this issue better. And sometimes their Triple Melons were gone bad before its expiration date. So I've reported the issue to the associate around 9:05 PM in the evening and I could get full refund. Then their associate said, "We close our customer support at 9:00 PM, so you should not be here after 9:00 PM" I wish what I could hear from her was an apology to sell spoiled food, but she blamed me to bother her after customer service hour. So I try to go to other grocery stores in the area.

    Good morning . I don’t wanna be this person but I’m so tired of the same reoccurring issue with online ordering . I order from here 2-3 times per week because my mother can’t go to the store on her own nor use a phone because of her pacemaker . There is one female employee and she’s fantastic. If there’s anything out of stock it’s clear communication and she always has solutions and substitutions ready too . However or some reason there’s one male that clearly doesn’t wanna be there and I can tell everytime it’s him working because of the poor service . He picks whatever Substitutions he wants sometimes (never ok my mom can’t eat half of the things on the earth with her condition) , he doesn’t communicate anything ever (he made my order 2 hours late to wait for some bagels instead of letting me know so I could pick something else … I pay for my mom’s subscription to get our groceries in a flash . I’m sure there’s a record my order from him never arrives on time (once he had to split my order in three deliveries because he messed something up and didn’t let me know so when only 1/3 of my order arrived, I had to spend 20 minutes on the phone trying to figure out what was going on when he could’ve just called me and let me know first so that I didn’t have to stress ) . It’s so simple to call me and just let me know or even text me because they have that option too. It’s so simple to reflect in the app something is unavailable and I will immediately choose a substitute. I don’t have problems with anyone else . Why do I literally know exactly when it’s him working that’s how sad . I’m not putting into correct or mature words to express my disappointment. I have spoken to James about this twice in which there has still been no change but he says he’ll “talk to him “ . James also said they’re used to 6-8 orders a day . All I’m asking is put it in the app if it’s unavailable. If my order isn’t going to arrive on time over something minor like a bagel don’t hold it for 2 hours with out allowing me to choose for myself I had to DoorDash the bagels because the order was so late and didn’t even need them anymore . I feel as though with communication this wouldn’t even be an Issue but I guess only with this one employee that’s too much to ask.
