  We went to Lena’s for a family dinner on a Friday night, and I was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. We made reservations, which I’d definitely recommend for any size party. First of all, the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. It’s in a very unassuming area, and since it was my first time there, I had no idea what to expect. Walking in felt like stepping into Havana. The decor is phenomenal and creates such a warm, vibrant atmosphere. They offer two menus: mostly Italian with a smaller Cuban menu. As someone who loves Cuban food, I do wish the Cuban menu had a few more options, but everything we ordered from both menus was delicious. The food was amazing, the service was great, and the bartender was awesome during happy hour. Another highlight of the night was the live music. I’m not sure which nights they have it, but it completely elevated the experience and made the evening feel extra special. Overall, it was such a beautiful night. I honestly can’t wait to go back!

  Good food as usual, but some disappointments. The menu still shows Lena's Sunday Gravy for brunch, which was my favorite, but today I was informed they no longer serve that -- so maybe update the menu. Next I ordered fried chicken biscuits and gravy, only to have the server return to inform me the biscuits were not ready as they had just started making them. Then the server had to apologize for the delay of several extra minutes in the coffee as they had just started brewing it -- moral of the story here being don't make 10am reservations for an early brunch to get your day moving, because Lena's crew does not start doing anything to prepare before opening time. Then the huevos rancheros came out without the avocado slices described on the menu and we had to ask for that. Finally, Lena's is one of those restaurants that doesn't put salt and pepper on the table, which is a little presumptuous about the perfection of their seasoning for everyone. Come on. Loved Lena's for getting us through the pandemic with their oasis, but they're resting on their laurels lately.

  We recently booked this restaurant to host our product release dinner party, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance set the perfect tone. The food was absolutely exceptional. Every dish we ordered, from the steaks to the chicken to the appetizers and dessert, was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. My guests were also extremely pleased with the food and made so many comments about how much they enjoyed every dish. There was not a single miss on the table. What made this experience unforgettable was the staff. A special thank you to Rosi for helping me coordinate the entire dinner party, and to Bill and the waitstaff, who were exceptionally attentive, professional, and friendly. Top notch service from start to finish. I was extremely pleased with the entire experience. This has become one of my favorite restaurants, and I cannot wait to come back with my family. If you are looking for a place that delivers great food, outstanding service, and a beautiful atmosphere, this is the place. Highly recommended.

  We are from Texas and visiting family in VA. They recommended Lena’s, and they were right! The lasagna and the chicken rustica were outstanding, but above that was the superb service of Melida. Her courteous service and attention to detail, especially during my wife’s birthday celebration, made this visit special and memorable. When she comes back, we want her to be our waitress.

  Our take out order was wonderful! My pasta was still too hot to eat when I started to eat it! The Caesar salad remains my all time fave . The pepperoni pizza was also very hot and delicious. 100% recommend this restaurant, eat in or take out!
