  I had such a great experience at CAVA! Jeffrey and Mo were absolutely wonderful and so helpful. They took the time to explain the food and helped make my experience even better. Their kindness and great service really stood out to me. It was a super clean space, fresh juice and warm food. I’ll definitely be coming back!

  This low rating is mainly related to the female in charge! I visited the Duke Street location today around 6 PM and ordered a chicken bowl. The initial portion of chicken was incredibly small, so I agreed to pay the extra $3+ charge for a double portion. The second set of scoops was just as tiny. While the young men serving on the line were fine and polite, the female intervention ruined the experience. I asked for a third side sauce. I had paid for extra meat it looked like I would need an extra sauce to go. A woman stepped in to enforce a strict upcharge policy rather than offer a simple customer courtesy. She said I would have to pay even more to get another 2-oz sauce to-go. I could not reason with her so I asked him to just drizzle some extra directly on my food in the unclosed bowl instead, she rudely instructed the server to make it a very small amount and walked away in a huff. Nickel-and-diming a customer who is already paying extra for double meat is ridiculous. In retrospect, I should have turned and walked out. I will not be returning.
