  Hard lessons were learned this morning. This would have never have happened if I had just not tried to save a buck. Food City might be expensive but at least I get what I pay for. I ordered birthday flowers delivered this morning by Doordash from Abingdon Food Lion. Common sense and decent courtesy were not on the order from either Food Lion or my ignorant delivery driver apparently. I even asked in the comments to the driver for something "bright and happy since these are birthday flowers". This was the result. Food Lion wants to blame Doordash but why was this even an option for Doordash to choose from? Best options make for best results but what do I know? Totally embarrassing. Ultimately at the end of the day this boils down to Food Lions crappy flower department and bad decision making skills from a delivery driver. Food City would never.

  I Honestly Do Not Know If They Should Even Get One Star. So A Couple Weeks Ago, I Went In To Grab A Couple Of Things And Stopped By The Deli To Get Some Meat, I Saw Multiple People Working In The Deli Area, A Tall Man, Young In the Back, An Older Lady Believe Her Name Is Tony, And A Red Headed Lady, Believe She is Manager Of the Deli, Not A Single One Came To Help Me. So I Left, As I was Sick Of Waiting For People To Come. The Only Up Side To This Was, When I couldn't Find Something, A Gentlemen Named Mike Helped Me Find It. He Was The Only Positive Thing About The Store That Day. Unfortunately Though, Despite Mikes Help, I Will Not Be Shopping Here Anymore.

  JUST A GOOD OG GROCERY STORE. YOU KNOW SOMETIMES YOU JUST WANT A LOAF OF BREAD. YOU DONT WANT A TV OR A FISH TANK, OR SOME CRAZY PERSON ASKING TO SEE YOUR RECEIPT. YOU JUST WANT TO WALK IN, GRAB A LOAF A BREAD, NOT MAKE EYE CONTACT WITH A SHORT TIMER, CHECK OUT AND GET BACK IN YOUR CAR. THIS IS THE PLACE TO DO THAT.
