  I was visiting my daughter in St George. This is the second time I've visited in St George and I look forward to going to this specific grocery store. I think it is amazing

  This location is by far my favorite Smith's and my favorite grocery store in St George. The staff at this location are always friendly and helpful, they go above and beyond in every interaction. Smith's is super kid friendly! My daughter LOVES the kids carts, stickers that the staff give her at check out and the free water at Starbucks. They used to give free balloons and that was wonderful but unfortunately they recently stopped. They also have a little stand in the produce area that has cuties, apples and/or bananas to take for your kid to eat while shopping.

  If you pay attention to sales and digital coupons, there are some excellent deals at Smith's. The produce is generally fresh, the meats are decent cuts, and the Private Selection (house brand) goods are comparable to name brands (sometimes better). There are occasional stocking issues, where popular items will sell out early some days. For the most part, though, the store is well stocked.

  Smith's is part of the Kroger chain, just like Fred Meyer back in Oregon where I grew up and spent most of my life. Though Smith's stores vary in size, this is a large one with a great selection of groceries, deli, and even clothing and small appliances. I shop here often.
