My hypothesis was simple: "It's just gas station chicken." I have never been so gloriously, deliciously wrong. I noticed a couple of 3-star reviews and can only conclude one of the following: They accidentally ate the napkins. They walked into the wrong restaurant. They visited an alternate universe where these tenders weren't the greatest thing since sliced bread. Because the chicken I ate? Absolutely unreal. The breading was perfectly crispy. The chicken was impossibly juicy. The seasoning tasted like someone cared about my happiness on a personal level. Every bite had me looking around wondering if everyone else realized culinary history was unfolding. I've had chicken tenders from fancy restaurants that charge three times as much, and honestly... they owe me an apology. On my extremely rigorous, peer-reviewed Chicken Tender Index™, these earn an 8.7/10. Unfortunately, Google only lets me give 5 stars, which feels like trying to measure the Pacific Ocean with a shot glass. If you're driving by and wondering if you should stop, this is your sign. Pull over. Cancel your plans. Eat the glorious chicken. If glorious chicken is wrong, I don't want to be right.
