I feel like we totally got scammed at Dairy Queen of all places tonight haha. We went in for some blizzards for date night, thinking we would do a cheap date and save some money this week. The blizzards said $5 on the menu (which is already a ton for a low-quality ice cream) but when they rang up they came to $8 each and when I asked about it the guy had zero explanation. We were holding up the line so we just paid for them. They took $30 minutes to come out and they were half melted when they did. Needless to say I think that was one of the last times we go to DQ for a while haha. Tasted good though!

I've had multiple times here where I order a large blizzard and they don't blend it well so the bottom third is just vanilla icecream. They also don't do the chicken strip meal deals so instead of spending $10 on chicken strip and a blizzard Im spending $20.

My wife had a pretty frustrating experience here. She ordered a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Pie Blizzard and got a regular Reese’s instead. No big deal, mistakes happen. But when she went back up and calmly said it was wrong, the guy tried to tell her that’s what she ordered and basically doubled down instead of just fixing it. Then he told her she’d have to pay again to get the correct one. That’s where it really crossed the line. It wasn’t just a mistake at that point, it was the attitude; rude, dismissive, and zero accountability. If you mess up an order, just own it and fix it. Don’t argue with the customer and definitely don’t make them pay twice for your mistake. Pretty disappointing experience overall.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this Dairy Queen, largely due to the manager, Pedro, who has the worst customer service skills I’ve ever experienced and is honestly one of the rudest employees I’ve ever encountered. After reading other reviews, it’s clear this is a pattern here, not a one-time issue. This is a horrible location with consistently poor service and a very unpleasant attitude from management. I ordered a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Pie Blizzard, which I get regularly, and no one told me they didn’t have it. Instead, Pedro said nothing, sent me through, and I was given the wrong item (Reese’s Pieces). When I went inside to fix it, he gave conflicting explanations, claimed he read the order back (he didn’t), and refused to take any accountability. He then fixated on a $0.99 app deal, repeatedly saying he “didn’t have to give it,” which was irrelevant because it was in the app and he chose to take the deal (we would have just ordered without it if he said he couldn’t). I just wanted what I ordered. When I asked for it to be remade or replaced, he told me I would have to pay again. He simply said “I’m not making it.” Expecting a customer to pay to remake an order that was made incorrectly is honestly insane. So I left paying for something I threw in the trash. There was no apology, no effort to fix the mistake, and no professionalism, just a dismissive, rude attitude. Based on both my experience and the many similar reviews, this location is clearly poorly managed. I go to Dairy Queen often and have never experienced anything like this. Pedro is a terrible manager and terrible employee. 4/19/26 at 8:30 pm.
