  We went to Monarca for my son’s 21st birthday. Everything was unbelievable. alfonso was amazing!!! He recommended the best dishes in the menu. He was knowledgeable and very attentive. Our food was perfect! The drinks were delicious and the service was excellent! We will definitely come back. If you want to have the best experience ever, you better ask for Alonso to be your server. Thank you so much for everything. Until next time

  Alfonso was fantastic! Took great care of our party of 32 people. The food is always consistent and prices are reasonable. Get the elite and ceviche appetizers. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

  I’m not the type to leave any review for a restaurant let alone a bad one, but my last experience at Monarca left me with a remarkably bad impression. Not only did the menu change and get way higher in price but our server Bryan wasn’t attentive and the little times he was at our table he could barely answer any questions gave off a bad attitude and forgot to put in our order until we asked for an update on food and drinks we had been waiting on. We will not be coming back and we will not be recommending. Prices way too high for the poor service.

  I honestly don’t understand the hype about this restaurant. They started us off with what had to be the smallest bowl of chips and salsa I’ve ever seen—barely enough for one person. The salsa was completely bland, with no flavor or hint of spice. I ordered the Steak Ranchero, expecting a generous serving of ribeye steak. Instead, I received a plate that was mostly potatoes covered in a tomato-based sauce, with only a few small pieces of meat. There was nothing about it that tasted fresh, authentic, or even remotely like Mexican food. It lacked any seasoning or kick. When I mentioned that the salsa was bland, our waiter promised to have the kitchen make me a fresh, spicier batch. It never arrived. After that, we were largely forgotten, and the service only got worse. To make matters worse, the prices are far too high for what you receive. Tiny portions, hardly any meat, bland food, and inattentive service made for a thoroughly disappointing experience. I’ve had more satisfying meals at fast-food restaurants. Save your money and skip this pretentious restaurant. If you’re looking for flavorful Mexican food and generous portions, you’ll need to look elsewhere.
