  Monarca is hands down one of my favorite restaurants! Every time I come here, the food is incredibly fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. I honestly have never had a bad experience with anything I’ve ordered. My absolute favorite is the octopus taco — I almost always end up ordering it because it’s just that good. The birria and shrimp tacos are also amazing, and I love the flautas. And the pozole… seriously, don’t even get me started! Everything is so fresh and full of flavor, and you can really tell that a lot of care goes into the food. Another thing that makes Monarca special is the service. Alfonso has taken care of me several times, and he is always incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. He always recommends the best dishes, and every recommendation he has given me has been a winner. I completely trust his suggestions because I know I’m never going to be disappointed. Monarca is definitely one of those places that I keep coming back to and recommending to everyone. Great food, amazing service, a beautiful atmosphere, and people who genuinely care about the experience. If you haven’t been yet, you’re seriously missing out! I can’t recommend it enough. ❤️

  I had dinner at the bar since being alone seemed like I shouldn't take up a table. Greeting was nice and Juls was very casual and friendly. I had the octopus taco and halibut entre. Both were exceptional and I am very critical. Both came out hot and in order as I requested. Great team work on service. I think the staff here is attentive enough to see an order was up and whoever was in the kitchen just brought it out to me. Good teamwork. Tortillas, chips and salsa were great. Everything was flavorful, but not spicy, which was a very nice change of pace. Seemed like an Oaxaca flare which is not common where I am from (CO). Thanks for a wonderful dinner Monarca, please keep it up, I'll be back.

  The food was absolutely incredible. Probably some of the best food I’ve had in a long time. Our server was great! Drinks are also incredible 10/10

  Went to Monarca and had a delicious and wonderful meal. We ordered the enchilada suiza and the rib eye, bone marrow tacos. The sauces and quality were unmatched! The attention to authenticity in their Oaxaca corn, was apparent. The flavors were amazing. I also love their priority to use local vendors. We had Darcy as our waitress who helped us navigate the menu. I can’t wait to come more and try the whole menu! you should as well!

  Seriously incredible. The ceviche, mole, and flan were so beautiful and tasty. Our server Bart was well timed, and had great recommendations anytime we had questions!
