I came here three years ago and wasn’t “wowed” at all by the food and the price you pay. Went again today to give it another try and it will be my last. Ordered the chips and salsa which came with two bowls of “salsa”. It was just tomatillo sauce and a red pepper puree in a cup filled 1/4 of the way. The bowl was pretty much empty. Ordered the Carne Asada quesadilla, so much cheese that I couldn't eat it, very very greasy.I went for the meat and it was flavorless, so I had to put on the tomatillo on top of it to give it some flavor. For a great location, they need to do better with their food.

It was amazing! We try to find a new place to eat every Wednesday for date night. I got the carne asada burrito, my wife got the chicken empeñada they were both wonderful. The environment is great as well

loved Lola's and ate their twice in my 4 days in SLC. Cantaloupe salad was delicious but was lacking the lemon curd and served with basil, not mint. Cucumber jicama salad was delicious but quantity was extremely small. $10 drink served in a whiskey glass and came 1/2 full. Love the unique flavors here but need to find a way to make the patrons feel more like they are getting their money's worth (we all know what a cuke cost). 2 apps and water shouldn't cost $30 and 2 apps with 2 drinks shouldn't cost $50. Lola your doing alot right and kudos for even having your doors open.- read the review as suggestions for tweaks from this foodie. Outdoor dining was perfect.
