  I was in Salt Lake City on a work trip and decided to stop by Dave & Buster’s for some entertainment, food, and drinks after a long day. Carla made the experience even better. She was extremely helpful, attentive, and reassuring throughout the night, making sure everything was taken care of and that I felt comfortable the entire time. Great customer service like that really stands out when you’re away from home traveling for work. Definitely appreciate her professionalism and positive attitude. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!

  Had to file a noise complaint with the city. All kinds of ppl in my apartment building were walking around wondering why the building was shaking. Found out it was Dave and Busters IN ANOTHER BUILDING NEXT DOOR. WHAT??? Called the police and they said they were already on their way over because of multiple noise complaints. This happens so often I might even ask more ppl in the building to write reviews bc this is actually so wild. It's video games and food right? Why is the bass at an 11??? I like loud music too but I genuinely thought something was wrong it was shaking the building so bad. I would pass on this place if you are on heart medication or have sensory issues. It's a no from me

  We were greeted by our server (Nune) telling us that she has to tip out the bar, bussers and food runner and that we should buy our game credits through her to make it so she keeps more of her money without tipping out. And that we should leave her a good review using her name. that was the first thing she said to us. very unprofessional. Food was ok, nothing great and drinks seemed very light on alcohol. There was several times where the games would charge us but not activate to play. It is what it is. Adult Chucky cheese

  Extremely disappointed with experience at SLC version of Dave and Busters. I have spent a few years working in IT and part of this requires travelling. One of my favorite spots to go is Dave and Busters with locations all over the US I have been to a handful in various regions. The SLC Dave and Busters has very poor service. We spent over 400 dollars here at our last visit between the arcade and restaurant. What bothered me the most about my visit is the Mai Tai. I ordered one and I should have refused it immediately. Instead I took the two sips off of this drink and it was gone. Fine. I voiced my concerns and was instantly met with hostility saying the drink was made "to spec." however it did not even slightly resemble the advertised drink. It was 99% ice and 1% drink. Clear to the look because of all of the ice but yet in the photo in the menu. Opaque. Online. Opaque. Meaning you cannot see an image clearly through the drink. I voiced this concern and was passed onto a person claiming to be the Manager who stated they would make it right and bring me instead a blue moon. After stating that they understand the drink provided looks nothing like the picture. Yet they stated that it is Dave and Busters specification to make such a poor drink that does not resemble the drink from the image. But with my experience and numerous Dave and Busters all over the US. I find this hard to believe and I think there is an issue with the staff and the relationship between Dave and Busters. Or the customers of Dave and Busters. Don't take my word for it. Check for yourself and compare what they serve to the menu and what is advertised nationally and those images. Staff did not provide plates for our appetizers and we had to get up and ask for these, they also finally after 20 minutes brought the beer which I though was to compensate the poor Mai Tai, but was charged for this purchase as well. Needless to say at this point I will be reluctant to ever return to my own Dave and Busters here in Utah SLC. And the icing on the cake. You cannot even bring your drinks into the arcade. Is it really a Dave and Busters? Or someone just paying to carry and trash the name of a good place? I am just not sure after this weekend. P.S. I am fairly sure the staff did something like the movie waiting to my drink after I complained. I am the only one in my party that is now sick after this visit. I may have been better off calling the health department and having samples collected.

  When we were sat, the hostess didn't tell the server or anyone else, so someone else went to seat customers at our table but couldn't, obviously. Our server came by 5 minutes later and took our drinks. Came back 10 minutes later with our lemonade and coke and to take our order, at this time I forgot we didn't even order yet, since it had been awhile. She took our order, just an appetizer, 2 meals and then left. The guy who had our food went to the wrong table (right next to us), walked away and then came back 5 min later. We finally got our food, and it was unseasoned, and now lukewarm. Our server never came back. She didnt bring the appetizer or the food, I was already out of my drink by the time the appetizer came out, and she never once came for a refill, to check on us, or anything. She circled the other tables but avoided us. She even bussed the table next to us and didn't say a word. I saw two customers go up to her to complain about certain things because they were ignored as well, for example they couldn't eat their food because she never gave them silverware. After 40 minutes to an hour of having our food and being done at this point and my drink still empty, never refilled, she comes by and asks if we need a box or a refill. At this point I ask for a to go drink because I just want to leave. She comes back with a box and a to go drink, but not a check. We're confused because if we're getting stuff to leave, why not bring the check? We wait another 10 minutes and she finally asks "do you want to pay now?". Its a kiosk that they hold. Somehow a coke, lemonade, appetizer, pasta and a chicken tender meal equals $80. They also expect you to tip at least 25% and above. My friend ended up giving a good tip because she felt bad with the server holding the kiosk and watching her, which just feels like they guilt trip you into tipping more, but she did not deserve a single dollar. She gave us one drink and put our order in. We were abandoned by our server the rest of the night. Probably the worst service I've ever had. If it wasn't my first outing with this friend, and I was with someone else, I would've complained in person but I didn't want to be that person. Really bad service & bland food for super high prices. I will not be returning.
