  I ordered food through the drive through and when we got to the window the guy working swiped my card. He then told me that his system wasn’t working and he asked if I had cash on me. I only had card so I said no. He then asked me to go across the street to Walgreens to grab cash which It was kind of late and I was hungry so I said yes. He told me when I come back to just come to the door and flag someone down. I go to pull cash out of my account and I see the pending charge on my card from sonic. I went back to the restaurant and up to the door and I sat there for 5-10 minutes waving at the workers inside, 3 of them looked at me and just ignored me. I ended up just going through the drive through again and finally got my food. This will be the last time I go to this sonic. The quality has gone down significantly.

  The food at sonic is amazing, but I would give a 0 to service if I could. Last 2 times I’ve gone I waited 20+ minutes in the drive thru… for literally no one to take my order. I even asked an employee who came out if they were taking orders anymore and he just shrugged and went back inside. Then I proceed to see him peek out to check if I’m still there and then goes back inside once he sees my car. I love Sonic, but I won’t be coming back to this location because the service is that bad.

  I got food poisoning here last night from the Premium Chicken Bites Everything else we ordered was good and hot. When we were handed our food, they originally forgot to add the nuggets. The nuggets were barely warm when I got them and the texture was off on one of them. Most likely staph. aureus toxicity (I had sudden onset severe nausea and vomiting 3 hours after ingestion), which comes from improperly stored or prepared milk, meat, or poultry. The Sonic was the only thing I had eaten in >6 hours, and the only thing from my order that is likely to cause staph. a toxicity I recommend Sonic review their safe food storage protocol, and consider a more aggressive SOP for when to toss prepared food. I don’t see any other reviews with food poisoning, so I assume it isn’t a common problem nor one of the employees as a carrier.

  The food was good they put onions on my burger after I asked for none. I work in fast food so I understand and thats all good. The part that made me upset is the workers aditude. They all didnt seem to want to be there. I heard yelling (not the lets get to work type buy the pissed off type) from the kitchen and people swearing about things. Great job with the food though it was delicious!
