Unfortunately, however, when Domino's decided to stop offering customers a free pizza when they fail to meet the 2-minute "carside delivery" deadline, this Domino's location decided to stop honoring this pickup option altogether. This policy change occurred about three years ago, and the impact was immediate. Despite checking in on the app, parking right in front of the shop, putting your hazard lights on, and making eye contact with them, Domino's employees will wait you out of your car. The first time we were "waited out" of our car, we thought it was a fluke, but it has persisted to this very day. So I promise you this: After 30 minutes of wondering why your pizza hasn't been brought out to you, you'll get sick of waiting and go in to ask the employees where it is... then they'll hand you a pizza that has been sitting idly on a shelf that entire time and has a description of your car printed uselessly on the receipt. Of my 15+ personal experiences falling into this trap, only one employee has ever apologized - a nice gesture, but hollow (after all, ignoring carside pickup customers is statistically proven to be deliberate at this point). Frankly, it is rude to set up an expectation you don't intend to follow through with, and the flippant attitude of employees who KNOW you're there for a carside pickup but CHOOSE to force you inside the shop is alarming. This Domino's should remove the carside pickup option if they don't intend to honor it, or hold themselves accountable by re-instating the free pizza offering.

I’m tempted to call him and demand a refund, but my kids ate the garbage
