I came for the chicken and waffles and left wondering why I've been making breakfast at home like a fool. The s'mores French toast is a 10/10 dessert disguised as breakfast. Yes, the line can be long, but it moves, and the staff handed my granddaughter a birthday cinnamon roll just because—that kind of thing sticks with you. Bonus: your meal supports a good cause, so you can feel virtuous while demolishing a stack of pancakes.

The food was delicious, and the vibe inside is so fun. I genuinely would have given this place 5 stars if the service had been a little more welcoming. Our experience started the second we walked in. There were three employees standing at the front counter, all three looked at me, so naturally I smiled and said, “Hi! How are you?” Silence. Not one “hi.” Not a smile. Not even a polite little nod. Just three people staring at me as if I had walked in and asked them to help me move a couch. After a few seconds of wondering whether I had accidentally become invisible, I asked how long the wait would be for a table of two. More silence. Eventually, one of the three picked up a tablet and started tapping away. No “Let me check for you,” so I simply trusted the process and assumed we were now collectively investigating the wait time. 😂 A few seconds later: “20–25 minutes.” I said, “Sure, that’s perfect!” “Number?” A woman of few words. I respect the commitment to the bit. I gave her my number, said thank you, received one final serving of silence, and went to wait for our table. Our waiter was definitely friendlier, although I’m not sure I saw him smile once either lol. None of this ruined the experience. The food really was great, and I loved the atmosphere. But the service could use a little warmth. Even a simple “Hi, welcome in!” would make such a difference. Great food, great vibe, and hopefully on my next visit I can unlock the secret dialogue options at the front counter. 😂

I love this place. Everything about it is great. If you have the chance to go, and if Jacob is there, request to sit in his section. I will wait to have him as a waiter! I didn't get him this last time and I regret it! Therefore next time I will wait. Cat head biscuits are great. I had the berry waffles with mascarpone this time and OH MY GOODNESS! So yummy

Me and my husband showed up before 10:30 to get breakfast. We showed up got put on the wait list. We got the wait list text and all was going great. We were told we had about a 40 minute wait. Fourth minutes go by and we still hadn’t been notified that our table was ready so we clicked on the link on the text they sent and it said we were no longer on the wait list. This was news to us so my husband went in to see what happened they told us that the computer had been acting up so the lady put us back on the waitlist. We were put on after everyone that had showed up behind us so that gave another 50-60 minute wait on top of what we had already waited. At this point I would have left but my husband wanted breakfast from here. I hope my husband enjoys it because this is the last time I will be visiting this establishment as it is 12:55 we still haven’t been seated and our number has gone up on the waitlist again. I also feel bad for the people beside us because their waitlist has been stuck at 15 minute wait time left for the last 45 minutes and they got here after us. This was our second chance for this place after having a struggle to get seated a few months ago. When tru religion first opened the service and food was better than one could ever hope for. I’m sad to see that has changed. I hope they get their seating system fixed so this doesn’t continue happening. Update: got seated at 1:01 after the girl at the desk came to ask our names because she’d made it through everyone on her list!

Denny's would've been a better choice. When ordering the $17 Classic Breakfast Special (2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 bacon, and hash browns), one would expect above average food and service. Both were disappointing. The pancakes were like door stops. I nearly had to use a knife to cut them. I had to chase each bite with a swallow of milk to soften them up. I make much better pancakes at home. For the price, I expected light and fluffy. The butter syrup was good. The bacon, seemingly of high quality, was thick cut but overcooked, and a few bites tasted burned. Each bite broke into small pieces as I bit down. The eggs were cooked as ordered (over medium), which surprised me. With the lacking quality of the pancakes and bacon, I expected the yolks to be broken, and possibly overcooked. The hash browns were okay, but how would one go about screwing up hash browns? Lastly, the server was cold with a short temperament. She took my order, which was delivered by a different employee. She stopped by before I took my first bite to ask how everything tasted. She only showed up again when I was finiahed to ask how everything was. The only recommendation I can make for this place is to avoid it. The "art deco" atmosphere does nothing more than attract a lot of wannabe hipsters. The number of "man buns" was excessive.
