- ACAlta Count5 days ago1.0Monday August 24th, 6ish pm. Whoever was talking calls was insanely rude. Didn't even end up going through with my order because of it. They were on speaker and when my friend heard it they were also shocked and were like, "What the heck." I tried talking and the guy cut me off and said "All I hear is mumbling, speak up." Then when I adjusted the phone and asked if he could hear he said, "I was able to hear, it's just all I heard from you was a bunch of mumbling." Then I was finally asking about what I needed and he cut me off and said he couldn't help me, "Period." Whoever the guy with the feminine voice was taking calls on this shift needs to be retrained in customer service. Literally would rather drive across town than go here. Then the same night when my friend got her own food, it was cut horribly and slices fell apart as soon as she picked them up. Bad food, bad service. My friend said when she went inside the guy was in the back making pizzas and if his cutting skills are anything like his customer service skills, it was probably him. Someone take him back to the basics.

What bothered me was how the manager on duty chose to handle the situation. An item was missing from my order, and instead of giving me a few possible solutions and asking what worked best for me, I was basically left with two choices: wait another 20 minutes to eat and let the rest of my food get cold, or eat my food before the missing item arrived. The missing item finally showed up at 9:58 PM. The manager’s solution felt more focused on penny-pinching than actually making sure the customer was satisfied. Mistakes happen, and I wasn’t upset that something was forgotten. It was the way the mistake was handled that made the experience frustrating. A simple, “Here are the options we can offer you—what works best?” would have completely changed the experience. Now I remember why I haven’t ordered from this Domino’s in over two years.
