The food was good and portions overall great for pizza, pasta, and dessert. The salad is a side salad and not worth the $10 it costs. Their menu could have better descriptions and drinks listed. I felt the menu just felt confusing if you don’t know pasta names. I thought service was great and our waitress was great. Atmosphere is a little bland and loud. I might come again, but for the price it’s not at the top of my list. For drinks and main courses, plus a few shared desserts, we spent around $40 a person, which is a lot for “casual” spot.

Delicious food and amazing service! The burrata pizza was heavenly… I’ve been dreaming of it ever since honestly… and the pasta was so good too, the noodles with the perfect bite and the sauce had a little kick and kept everything interesting!! The complimentary focaccia with the balsamic vinegar and olive oil was perfect too! Can’t wait to visit again!

My mom & I came to Basta after completing her very first radiation appointment; she had been once before and raved about it. She meant to order meatballs & pasta & accidentally ordered just the meatballs but when they brought the food out & realized the misunderstanding, the staff insisted on getting her the right dish. Their exceptional kindness on a hard day meant everything. Everyone was unbelievably kind and the food was delicious. The pizza crust is really phenomenal.

We've been here a few times but probably won't go back. Their prices are really, really rediculous for the food quality and quantity. $20 for a small plate of gnoche with a few bits of bacon on it and $15 for a drink in a plastic cup. We waited about a 1/2 hour to get our meals and then they mixed up mine and my husbands - put the wrong sauce on the pasta we each ordered. We waited nother 20 min. + to get our meals, again. It's also frustrating that you are expected to tip before you get your food or any service. They did apologize for the mix up and brought us a couple of little canolis. Just dissapointing, but that seems to be pretty much the experience anywhere you eat out now a days.

The food is really good and the homemade noodles are great. The portions are quite small for the price. Not what you’d expect from a plate of pasta. We were shocked that the kids meals pasta were a larger portion than the regular plates and half the price. Seating is also a bit limited and the food took quite a while to come out. We really enjoyed the pasta but probably wouldn’t go back because the portions are so small.
