la comida sabe como a guardado, las arepas estaban frías y duras, nos demoramos media hora para poder pedir un agua, y las mini arepas no valen la pena, no lo recomiendo

The garlic sauce is a hit! The arepas are super mega delicious and the tequenos are spot on!

The food is excellent and very flavorful. Really unique combinations of ingredients. Right as we walked in, though, it smelled like a public restroom.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Arempa’s is absolutely amazing! The Venezuelan food is some of the best I’ve ever had—everything was delicious, authentic, and full of flavor. And the hostess deserves a special shoutout for being so welcoming, friendly, and attentive. She truly made the experience even better. If you’re in Salt Lake City and want incredible Venezuelan food with wonderful service, you have to try Arempa’s! 🇻🇪❤️

I love coming here. I have symptomatic very sensitive celiac and they are a dedicated gf facility where they have only 2 items on the menu that are unsafe and they are prepped and cooked separately from everything else, so pretty much anything is up for grabs and I can actually eat and enjoy it without worrying about having an exposure due to cross contamination. It's also got gorgeous fun decor and they have a menu with a lot of good variety, though I mostly get the fried pork and yucca, the arepas, and their empanadas. They do have a smaller dining room and I've thankfully only gone when they aren't super busy (2-5pm) but I could see them having 30 min+ wait times at their busiest time frames. Overall I highly recommend this establishment as they have good waitstaff, fantastic food, a great atmosphere, and of course are gluten free. I end up going at least 3 times a month if not more because they are one of the rare dedicated gf restaurants in the Salt Lake City region even though I live up in the Layton/Kaysville area. That and they have fantastic food, it is mostly corn based Venezuelan recipes that don't have gluten to begin with so it doesn't taste like your missing out on anything like some other establishments that cater to gf crowds. They also run a food truck and do live catering as well. So be sure to ask about it if you enjoy it enough to want them to come and cater an event you're doing.
