- OGOlivia Gibbons4 days ago1.0We had the most horrific experience, I traveled halfway around the world after living overseas to come home and visit my favorite places and drove 40 min to the only remaining smashburger in salt lake and my family and I were treated like dirt. We turned around and left. We were treated so badly we were concerned our food would be spat in. This was my belated birthday experience and I was so let down and my day was ruined.

During our visit on 9/5/26, we were told by the cashier that an unpaid order could neither be edited nor canceled to start over after asking to switch regular fries for smashed fries. When I requested to speak with the manager regarding this policy, the cashier said she would fetch him from the kitchen. We waited at our table, but he never came out. Whether this was a system limitation or a lack of employee training, ignoring a customer request to see management is unacceptable.

(See picture) Asked for a water cup and was told the only water they have is a bottled water for $3. What a joke. Won't be back. I know turning a profit is tough, but I won't give my business to a company that pulls bush league BS like that.

Paid ~$21 for a single burger patty, regular fry, and medium drink - and the burger wasn’t even good. Wanted a water but their machine was broken and charge $3 for a water bottle. Worker taking orders was abrasive. It was weird. Bummed out and won’t be coming back, ever 👎
