  Tacos were pretty good, especially taco Tuesday deals. Everything else was very bland and meh.

  We just wanted a simple chicken meal and remembered El Pollo Loco and that it was pretty good. That was not the case this time around, the cashier didn't understand me and I had to repeat my order three times because she kept hearing different things for the sides. When the food came out my chicken looked and tasted like it had been under a heat lamp for at least a few hours, and my rice was cold. The only saving grace for my part of the meal was the Mac and Cheese. We also ordered the new tenders and were asked which sauce we wanted, it clearly said that they had house ranch which is what we ordered, but were given chili lime sauce and when we asked about the ranch the cashier said they didn't serve ranch. As for the atmosphere, we kept smelling what I can only describe as sewage smell.

  I’ve never eaten at El Pollo Loco before. I had a friend that wanted me to go and said they used to go all the time and it was so good. Well. It was awful! You can see my receipt and what was ordered. It wasn’t a lot but we had to tell the lady THREE times because she kept getting it wrong. The tenders seemed like they had been sitting all day. Really hard and dry. The lady taking my order asked what sauce I wanted and named the 3 they have listed. I said ranch. Ranch is on their menu/board. Well I got the lime one with my order. I went up and said I wanted ranch, the boy said they don’t carry ranch??? I said then why is it an option and on your board? No answer. Just walked away. I paid $3 extra for a “combo”, which was 5 tortilla chips and a drink… 🤔 Every single one of their fountain drinks needed syrup. It was pretty much straight carbonation. The 2 piece meal.. the drum was the smallest drum I’ve ever seen. Their music was so loud and the entire restaurant smelt like sewage. If I could leave a zero star, I would. Never going back!

  The food was ok i guess. The service was great but the place smelled like rotten mop bucket. So bad I had to leave the restaurant.

  Food (2 piece chicken dinner w 2 sides): delicious, flavorful, moist … nicely done. Service: friendly, attentive, timely. Atmosphere: typical of most fast food restaurants i.e. open, roomy, basic.
