This particular Taco Bell is right on the corner of Hill Field Road & Main Street, in Layton, Utah. It's on the northwest corner. If you approach it from the north, on Main Street, it's a piece of cake to pull in. If you approach it from the south, however, on Main Street, it's not so easy, mi amigo. You'll be forced to go straight through the intersection, and then make a "through turn", which is similar to a "U-turn", yet trendier and a pain-in-the-asado-er. Basically, this "through-turn" was designed by engineers who spent more time playing computer solitaire than taking a bath. But if you're approaching Taco Bell from the east (downhill), you'll be able to sail on through the traffic light on Main. You then make an immediate right turn, AFTER the light, into Taco Bell's OTHER driveway... the one facing WEST. The store has a a lot of big windows that wrap around, allowing you to watch the busy traffic outside. And believe me, you'll count your lucky stars that you're not the frightened, little gazelle in a Honda Civic, being picked off by the three-story pickup trucks: they like to thin out the herd by cutting you off for fun. If you don't own a pickup in Layton, you basically shouldn't be living there. They treat you like E.T., and get on the horn with Area 51, to see ask if you're a lab rat runaway. I've never seen so many pickups with empty truck beds in one city. My Jetta hauls more stuff than their jacked-up thrones on wheels. And I get much better gas mileage. I once tried to buy a pickup, but I didn't qualify: they found out I have no criminal record.
