I’ve been a regular here over the past year with my family because it's convenient, never has a long wait, and has a chill atmosphere that doesn't overwhelm my young kids. The servers are genuinely wonderful and so kind.
However, the food quality has dropped noticeably over the last year. Recent visits brought chewy meat, soggy or old salad greens, and mostly bland dishes. While the bread and plain pasta are okay, the overall food experience just isn't what it used to be. We've also experienced a few recurring service hiccups, like missing drinks and items frequently being out of stock when we ordered.
That said, the staff has always been very gracious in trying to make things right, even when I didn't ask. I'm bumping this up from a 2 to a 3-star review specifically to acknowledge the wonderful servers and their genuine effort.
If you have little kids and value a stress-free environment with amazing service, it’s still worth a try—just temper your expectations for the food. We might take a break for a while, but we appreciate how hard the staff works.

We haven't been to Outback in a really long time. We had a coupon and a gift card, so we decided to give it a try. The food was expensive and unimpressive. There were four people in my party. No one really enjoyed their experience. One steak was overcooked and the other was undercooked. Most of the people were friendly. That was the best part of our visit.
Prices up, quality way down. When my wife and I walked in, 3 hostesses were standing at the desk completely clueless of their job description, did not greet, smile or know where to seat us or other patrons. My salad looked like it was meant for someone during the lunch shift. (We were there for dinner). My wife’s broccoli looked edible but was not. I ordered their teriyaki skewers, the meat looked old, the veggies were off and the rice was crunchy. My wife’s Alice springs chicken did not look or taste like it has in the past. Jesse our server was the only 5 star performance!
$103.54 for a couple at outback is a joke. My wife and I should’ve stuck to our usual spot. (Table 25) for the same amount my wife and I enjoy a 5 star meal, 5 star performance, organization, smiles and significantly less facial piercings.

The atmosphere got a high rating because we showed up at 9pm and it was basically empty, which was very nice. The food tasted exceptionally well(good flavors, and was cooked well) which was outstanding due to be an hour before closing. Kudos to the kitchen staff. To the bartender/server- that was one of the best old fashioned I have encountered. With an hour before closing, she was very polite and extremely patient with our table. We were not rushed with service or our food. So for a first time experience of an outback steakhouse, grade A+. Good job
Not what it used to be. It wasn't bad, but for the price thought it would be Exceptional.
4 adults and two todlers. Was over $100, and we stuck with the cheaper dishes, water.
4 dishes, 1 kids meal, 1 appetizer. We did have one steak the ribeye. The chicken the wife asked for they mistakened for an entirely different chicken, but our waitress was quick to fix it so i appreciate that. However asked her for a drink, which she said she would get back to me about it, next time she came back about 15 minutes later i had lost interest... Even then she had completely forgotten, didn't even ask.
Food itself was fine. Steak was decent. And it was perfectly cooked, great char on the outside.
I swear the bloomin onion sauce is different, or if they make it each day maybe whoever made it got it wrong? It was heavily favoring the mustard flavor. It's like they literally used mustard as the base, and some seasonings. To be fair it's been like 15 years since we've been to a OB SH. But i swear it used to be more like a fry sauce, hint of mustard, and seasonings. Not like 99% mustard.
The main reason we won't be returning isn't the service or food quality. Mainly the price. If they had wowwed us with quality, maybe we'd frequent them at least a little. But consdering it was all just "Meh" and for cheaper we go to places that are better and even yield more leftovers, that is why we will frequent those places and not here.
If i had to give some constructive criticism. Offer better bundles. I mean chilis we can get a 3 course meal and a drink for about half as much. And in most ways its as good/better. Only exception is maybe the steak. OB SH is a bit better. And personally as a business owner. I think WRITING DOWN an order as a server should be mandatory. Instead you have our server that never writes anything, but any add on she says "hang on let me finish this first, and i'll be back" which clearly she tries to stay organized by not adding to/confusing her system. I respect that for her, do what you gotta do to stay efficient, however. You missed out on a $15 drink which could've been another $2-3 tip. This begs the question, how good is that system really? And or management, this is the 21st century. There are literally apps you can license into your system that will listen to the client and auto fill out their check as they order stuff, all your staff would have to do is proof read it, and or do customizations.
P.s. This coming from someone that actually worked at an Outback Steakhouse.
