- JBJason Barrett3 days ago1.0Went here tonight on a daddy/son date with my 5 year old. I had just paid using Apple Pay on my phone before it died. My phone is also my car key, so I asked if they had a charger I could use so I wasn’t stranded. They asked a gal who I assume was the manager who simply said nope. The employee asked if I had asked any other stores. I said no, this is the store that I just paid with the same phone to eat at. They didn’t care. So I went and sat down to wait for my food. I would understand if they were busy. But there were maybe 6 occupied tables. As it died down to 3 tables half of the kitchen staff went on break, including the gal that told me no. As a paying customer, I won’t be back. Had my phone died before I needed to pay I bet they would’ve charged it. They obviously don’t have any loyalty to customers, especially when the question is whether I’ve asked other stores? Because surely someone (else) would have a heart, right?

Their prices are INSANE. This place is like a "special occasion" thing for us because its so unaffordable. They are really limiting their potential solely because of how much they charge. Also, at the time of writing this review, they are currently running their BOGO promotion, and this location is not prepared for it... I ordered online, the estimated wait time was a max of 12 minutes and I waited 40. There were so many people waiting in line to pick up their online orders. The staff was prioritizing in person orders, and no one looked like they knew what they were doing. You could tell the manager was in over her head. Five Guys, lower your prices, and make sure your staff are prepared for promotions.
