- RBRobert BrightMay 25, 20261.0The amount of disappointment I have in this establishment is unbelievable. We were in today, knowing it was busy and went in with the mindset. It was going to take some time. After watching a full rotation of people come and go in front of us and behind us, my son went to the counter to ask how much longer on his bagel with smear. The lady could not find his order, went to the back, came out and began helping other customers totally blowing my son off. After I noticed what happened I approached the counter and asked if she was going to acknowledge my son and give him an answer. Her reply was that They are looking for the order. I once again asked if she was going to answer my son and tell him how much longer it was going to be. She then could not answer the question and began running in circles with the things that she was saying. When I asked for a refund, she went and got a manager and he had no interest in what just happened or the amount of disrespect that she gave my son. I will never recommend this establishment or return. The employees have no care about the people they are serving are disrespectful, rude, and only want to take your money. If I could give this a zero star, I would. I will also be posting on social media how disappointed I am with the way the situation was handled and will be sure to order from other Establishments, even if it means taking a little bit longer or even costing a little bit more

They called me up to the counter, but there’s no bag and proceeded to tell me they’re all out of plain bagels and pick another one. I couldn’t wait any longer. I told him forget it give me my money back, please and I’ll be on my way. They even gave back the two of the three orange juices that I bought from them the third one I drank sitting there waiting they could’ve said just keep it will comp you that for your waiting and here’s all your money back but they didn’t. The manager was nice enough explaining that he doesn’t have enough good help the keyword they’re being good That combined with little tiny ovens there. They can only bake so many at a time people standing around waiting. It’s the worst experience. I haven’t been Einstein bagels for a long time and was really counting on the two nova lox And two plain wants to go and three orange juices altogether with tip almost 40 bucks. I’ll get Einstein bagels again sometime, but never to this one in Layton Utah by my house. It all goes back to the people they hire the money they pay them, which is probably bottom of the barrel, you can’t complain about your help when you don’t pay him very well and I don’t know what they pay, but it can’t be much judging by the looks of the people that work there.
