  Basta in Draper was awesome. The environment was fun, the food was absolutely delicious, and everything felt priced super reasonably for the quality. Honestly one of the only places I’ve been where tipping before receiving your food actually felt deserved. Even though you order upfront, the staff continually checked in throughout the meal, brought drinks out, made sure everything tasted great, and stayed engaged the whole experience. They also made great recommendations when ordering and every single thing we tried was excellent. Definitely will be back.

  Went here on a whim for a girls’ night, and it absolutely did not disappoint. I asked the cashier (possibly the manager?) for a recommendation, and wow… so delicious. The service was fantastic, and I can’t wait to go back!

  This place was awesome. Stumbled in here because the kids were hungry and it was a perfect spot. Christopher took great care of us and helped us pick some good stuff. Whole family was happy with what we got, even the picky ones. Every employee was very nice too, which is rare these days. We’ll be back soon.

  Did not expect the quality of food to be so great and delicious, especially being near other casual Fast food type places. The fresh homemade pasta was incredible. I was able to talk to the owner, Margherita, and she is the cutest little Italian woman you’ll ever meet. She told me all about the Italian tomatoes they use. The bolognese I had was cooked for 5 hours and used in an amazing red sauce. My husband had a white sauce with sausage in it and it was phenomenal as well. Definitely going to try their pizzas next time because they looked incredible. Can’t wait to go back!

  At first glance, this place might seem like just another regular restaurant… nothing overly fancy or extravagant. But don’t let that fool you. What truly makes this place stand out is everything that comes after you sit down. The food is absolutely incredible: rich in flavor, fresh, and clearly made with care. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, and you can genuinely taste the quality in every bite. I tried the gnocchi (with sorrentina sauce), my husband pizza (Parma), and my son a pasta (white sauce- kids menu). 🤤 Every thing was AMAZING! But what made the biggest impression on us was the service. The attention, the kindness, and the way everyone made us feel so welcome… it went far beyond what you’d normally expect. It felt personal, warm, and sincere (something that’s hard to find these days). This wasn’t just a dinner… it was a truly memorable experience. I will definitely be coming back, and I’ll be making sure everyone I know puts this place on their must-visit list. Thank you, guys! Please keep doing what you’re doing!
