  Nice place. Nice set up. A little on the OK, when it comes to friendliness and customer service. Coffee and food were great. Just missing that "smile".

  I really wanted to like this place because the staff were friendly and the service was good, but unfortunately the food was a huge disappointment. I bought a dozen spudnuts, and honestly, nobody in my household wanted to eat them. We all thought they tasted bad, which was surprising given the reviews. I also ordered a frappe. It was okay at first, but I took the recommendation to add custard, and I ended up regretting it. It had strange chewy pieces throughout that made the texture really unpleasant. I also had an egg sandwich, and it was pretty underwhelming. The bread tasted stale, the egg wasn't seasoned at all, and I honestly could have made a better sandwich at home. The only positive was the customer service, which was friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, the quality of the food didn't match the service, so I can't see myself coming back. Great service can't make up for disappointing food. Based on this experience, I won't be returning.

  Traveling and wanted to try a spudnut. What I got was a heavy, dense gut bomb that made my stomach upset. I also got the corn chowder. It was more potato than anything, the liquid was watery and the potatoes were not done. I was very disappointed.

  My wife and I make a special trip to Cedar every now and then to enjoy some delicious food from the Silo! Well, this time we were very disappointed... We waited for drinks for a long time and could tell there was only one girl doing everyone's drinks. All the girls looked so overwhelmed with everything. Nothing like the fun vibes that were the last times we were here. The food was also very slow because of not enough employees working. This place needs to go back in time to when there was enough employees that us as customers don't feel like we need to step in there and help out because we feel like we are asking for too much for how little help there is. Not that we even ordered a bunch, but waiting in line for over an hour before we had gotten all our food makes me never want to bring my family there again, just to help out the employees.
