  Takumi always impresses me. They do what they do well!! The chicken, steak and shrimp are all equally as good.

  I've been coming to this restaurant for years and have always recommended it as my favorite place to eat in Brigham City—until now. On my most recent visit, I ordered the steak and scallops. Unfortunately, the scallops were a huge disappointment. In the past, they've always been larger and tender, but this time they were no bigger than a dime and were extremely rubbery. I also ordered my usual large three-meat pho (scallops, shrimp, and beef) to go. Instead of the generous portions I'm used to, I received only two pieces of beef, four shrimp, and four tiny scallops. The biggest letdown was how the pho was packaged. The noodles weren't in the broth—they were packed separately in a container, and by the time I got home they were dry and crispy, almost like Funyuns. One of the things I always looked forward to was having the leftovers for lunch the next day, but this time they were nowhere near as good. I'm not sure if they've changed suppliers, recipes, or preparation, but the quality has noticeably declined. I really hope this was just an off day because this has been my favorite restaurant for years.

  Very kind servers. Food tastes more like Chinese food than Japanese but the flavor was good.

  We had an amazing experience at Takumi Japanese Grill! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Everything came out quickly, and you can tell they put a lot of care into both the quality of the food and the overall dining experience. A special shoutout to our server, Kolby! He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. His great attitude and excellent service made our visit even better. We'll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend Takumi Japanese Grill to anyone looking for delicious food and outstanding service!
