Don't get the chicken sandwich! I mean, what even is this??! Gross. You can see from the photos, that the "chicken" is nothing but a thin piece of what I can only assume is rehydrated jerky. Bun was dry and hard too. Ugh. So disappointed. I expect better than this from a Sonic and from a Texas one too!
I ordered a chicken sandwich & I was given a rock. The bun was obviously burnt & tough, the chicken was the size of my palm just tiny. And the side wasnt hot. The server was nice but I wouldn't recommend the food her

Extremely disappointing experience at Sonic Store #3127 in Wylie.
We pulled into the drive-in between approximately 11:40 and 11:45 PM specifically to order two Sonic Blasts. After waiting for someone to answer the speaker, we could hear employees laughing and joking around in the background. We repeatedly said "hello" before someone finally responded.
When we told them we wanted two Sonic Blasts, the employee laughed and said, "Oh, we're closed." We informed them it wasn't midnight yet, and another employee responded that they were still closed because they had already started breaking things down and weren't using the ice cream machine anymore. We were told that if we wanted something else, such as fried food, they could serve that.
When I asked for the store number, the employee again stated that they were closed and told us to come back tomorrow if we wanted ice cream or order fried food instead.
If a location advertises that it is open until midnight, customers should not be turned away 15-20 minutes early because employees want to begin closing procedures. The dismissive attitude, laughter, and poor customer service were just as disappointing as being denied service. Management should address both the customer service issues and the practice of shutting down equipment before the posted closing time.
Always slow , not a good sonic to go to
I ordered on the app for 1 little ice cream cup. I showed up and checked in. After 6 more minutes, I moved to a stall with a speaker box and told them I had checked in on stall - and waited and nothing came out. She said "you checked in under -, that's why. Well ya I did but y'all never came out so I moved to one with a speaker box. With an attitude, I got the ice cream cup and was told it was fresh because the other one was melted, and she made it seem like it was my fault. I didn't make them not bring my ice cream out. When the owner is there, it runs smoothly. When the owner is not there and kids are left in charge, it is horrible
