Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

But I was never told thye didn't have ice ,I ordered a large drink for sweet tea. I find it ridiculous I was not told about the ice situation when ordering, I wouldn't have gotten a drink . Will never be back🤷♂️,yeah im petty like that.

- JCJuan CarrilloSep 6, 20264.0Every time we go to Wharton TX we end up eating at this restaurant, mainly because there’s nothing else open later at night. It’s always been good when we eat here. Good fresh made food. The only concern I would have is that for the most part it’s run by young people and teenagers. So you’ll get quick service but might be a hit or miss as far as good responsible service goes per se. We have had good experience thus far. We have had breakfast and regular menu, both are good. I was impressed with the breakfast options, highly recommended. It helps that it’s next to the hotel we usually stay at.
