  From the moment we walked in at Saltgrass in Webster, it was seamless! The hostess welcomed us warmly and seated us right away in a spotless, inviting environment. Our waiter, Eric, was fantastic. He came quickly, was detailed, and never rushed us. We enjoyed every part of our meal—drinks, bread, soups, and appetizers—at our own pace. Eric even packed our leftovers thoughtfully. His kindness and attentiveness made our meal truly special!

  I really wanted to give this location another chance, but unfortunately it was another disappointing experience. A previous order had been messed up, and I was told to call back, give my name, and they'd make it right. When I called, they said there was no record of the issue. I placed another order anyway, arrived at the scheduled pickup time, and waited more than 15 minutes before finally asking someone to check on it. It wasn't brought out until about 20 minutes after the promised pickup time, and by then the food was already cold. This isn't the first time I've received cold food from this location. I understand many of the employees are young and working difficult jobs, but customer service and order management need to be taken more seriously. I hope management and ownership invest more in training and supporting their staff, because the food itself is good when it's served the way it's supposed to be.

  Lunch with my oldest daughter day!! We had a really great time today at the Saltgrass! We got to catch up on things going on after we were promptly down to a table. And right off a young lady came to take our drink order who was very friendly and outgoing! Apparently my daughter had been here a few times!! She brought out drinks right away and then offered the special for the day which sounded delicious! Blackened Redfish topped with shrimp and a seafood sauce!! But we already had our minds on steak, at least I did! Turns out she did too!! I ordered the 16 oz. Ribeye medium rare with a baked potato in the side. She ordered the 12 oz. Ribeye with the smoked gouda mac and cheese! We both also asked for side salads with Bleu cheese. The atmosphere was very nice and it had the lunch crowd in, but the noise wasn't so bad we couldn't here each other! Our waitress got our food out pretty fast and everything was perfect! Our waitress also kept checking up on us and was really on top of things even offering drinks to go!!! It's been a few years since I've been here since we moved away, but the service and food here hasn't changed one bit!!!

  I have been dining at Saltgrass Steak House for years and recently had a very disappointing experience. My family and I visited, and I was about to order the mac and cheese that I had eaten many times before. Without me saying anything, our server mentioned that he believed it contained pork and went to verify. It turned out that it did, so we changed our order immediately. Since my family and I do not eat pork, I explained that I had been ordering and eating this dish during previous visits without knowing. A manager came over, apologized, and even pointed out a couple of other menu items that also contain pork. While I appreciated the apology and the honesty, I was disappointed that I had unknowingly consumed pork on multiple occasions, there was no effort made to make things right. At a minimum, I expected some gesture of goodwill or compensation. To make matters worse, the manager took down my Landry’s Select Club number and said she would add the points from our visit, but the points were never added to my account. I appreciate the server for catching the issue, but between the lack of ingredient transparency, the lack of any meaningful resolution, and the failure to follow through on adding my Landry’s points, this experience left me very disappointed. After being a loyal customer for years, I expected much better.

  We traveled from Alabama for family our vacation. We had never been to a Saltgrass steakhouse before. So we did look up reviews. We found good reviews and some not so good reviews on service. We found a couple that came out, and my husband went up to them and just asked, what kind of service they experienced tonight. If the food was worth the prices we were seeing online and they said they were locals that they eat there all the time. They never have a problem. Food is always good. Made a couple suggestions on what to get. So we went in, and we had great service very, very attentive, kept our drinks full. I believe gave honest opinions about items on the menu. Food came out quickly. My husband's steak came out more well done than medium, but we have them remake it and it came back perfect.The manager came over, spoke with us had a nice conversation. I have nothing bad to say about our experience. Wish we had one back home close so we could have again.
