Food was good but not great. Had a 2 meat combo brisket/turkey with green beans and corn casserole w/jalapeño.The bbq sauce is vinegar based which I personally am not a fan of. Brisket was moist but lacked any flavor. Turkey had much more flavor. Corn casserole was just creamed corn, I couldn’t detect any jalapeño though. The pickles were excellent, but the dinner roll seemed like a store bought roll and no butter to put on it. We also had the brisket eggs Benedict which was good. The hollandaise doesn’t taste like any I’ve ever had before. The atmosphere is beautiful and our server was just a delight.
We were greeted by a histess who didnt seem to want to be there. After ordering my childs meal im advance it took a while for the aiter to check in and receive our order. The green tomatoes were good but overly salty. The brisket queso was fine but wouldnt reorder. The burger was really good and due to these meals I would have expected the rest to be as good. The steak my husband ordered was seemed to be about 1/3 fat. The meals themselves took a long time to arrive. After being done eating which is when our waitor checked in we made them aware of our concern, he seemed unphased but got the manager. The manager approached but seemed like she expected us to start the conversation. We did get a discount but chraged for rolls we didnt eat which we didnt realized we were charged until we left. We started off with thinking we found a new place to dine, walked away realizing it was a one timer.

I've been coming to Delta Blues for years, and this visit was one of the best yet. Our server, Taydem, was hands down the best waiter I've ever had at this restaurant. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and just went above and beyond throughout our entire meal. Outstanding service can make a great meal even better, and Taydem absolutely delivered.
The food was fabulous as always. We started with the Shrimp Brochette, and it was nothing short of chef's kiss... absolutely out of this world! For my entrée, I had the Chicken Fried Chicken, which is so good that I rarely order anything else when I visit. It never disappoints.
The only downside was our seating. Every time my friend and I come here, we somehow seem to end up at a table directly under the air conditioner. Since I had a reservation, I was hoping for a different spot. In the past, I've asked to be moved, but this time I just went with it. My friend and I joke that maybe it's because we're both over 50 that we get the "bad tables" (probably not true, but it's become our running joke!).
That minor issue certainly won't keep me from coming back. Delta Blues continues to be one of my favorite places, and next time I'll definitely speak up about seating preferences. Great food, exceptional service from Taydem, and another memorable dining experience.
Highly recommend!
Visiting from Alabama, and HAD to get Texas BBQ, per my Texan friends. It. Was. Ah-mazing!!! Tried the brisket, it’s like NOTHING we have around here! It literally melts in your mouth with an amazing flavor. ‘Bama brisket can be tough and chewy, not this meat!! Just try it, you’ll be glad you did!!
They had a good menu for gluten free and allergy options, as well. Like many bbq joints, there weren’t many sides I could personally eat, but potatoes are always good. For dairy free, you could leave off the cheese and sour cream, and presto! An amazing meal!
The service was great and friendly, and the decor in the restaurant was super cute with a western vibe! So glad we came and ate, and already missing Texas bbq!
Note: portions are Texas sized, and you could definitely share meals if you weren’t super hungry or have kiddos with you!

My husband and I had started to visit this--the Webster-- location multiple times, but it was always very busy with folks waiting for a table. So, I decided to make a reservation for his Birthday.
We arrived early for the reservation and sat at the bar and ordered drinks. They got us a table fairly quickly, but it appeared they had multiple open.
Atmosphere: Given that this was our first time here and I'd added on the reservation it was for his Birthday, I found it odd that they seated us in a booth at the far end of the bar...just outside the bathrooms, even though there were other booths/ tables available. Due to this, there was constant traffic and noise.
Service: Our server was nice and well-informed.
Food: To be frank, it was sub-par. From the appetizer to the main course. We'd planned on staying for desert, since it was his birthday dinner, but neither of us finished even half our entrees.
Edit: The food was either very salty and/ or contained lots of MSG. Both my husband and I felt bad for the rest of the evening, after eating here.
Drinks: Very limited beer list, but the margaritas we'd gotten while at the bar were probably the high point of the meal. We switched to beer once we'd gotten our food, but they only had a handful to choose from.
For an appetizer, we'd gone with the Boudin. It was very sloppy to deal with and the casing was pretty tough at times. The mustard and onions were good though.
Entrees: I had the rib combo, with sausage. The ribs were quite fatty and lacked flavor. I only ate one rib. The sausage was fair, but the casing was so tough, you couldn't cut some of the pieces apart. Hubby had the rib combo with brisket. He also ate maybe one rib and a portion of the brisket, some of which was tender, but other parts were dry and chewy.
As for the sides, between us we tried the mac n' cheese, green beans, baked beans and cole slaw. Out of those, the only one worthy of mention was the cole slaw.
I could go on, but why?
Overall, we won't be back. That said, with the drinks, meal and tip it was about $140.00 for a very disappointing meal.
As we were leaving, people were packed in the foyer, waiting for a table, so I'd suggest if you want to try this restaurant that you do an online reservation.
