Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- CCClay ColeMay 13, 20261.0After waiting line order, ordering and waiting some more pay over $15 for my order. Drink was wrong, refused to take it back got the rest of my. Dumped the drink at the window threw the cup and lid in the trash. Fries were room temperature. For the money the charge they should be able.to get the order right and the food be hot. There won't be a next time for this store.

They made my little boys grilled cheese with ketchup on it and then they gave him another one, the next time they put bbq sauce or something else on it. He’s 7 and waited 30 minutes for a grilled cheese and another 10 for the second one that was messed up! Their fountain drink machine doesn’t work and while I was standing there at the counter waiting for help getting a drink (since the machine didn’t work) two employees walked behind the counter and completely ignored us, dint even speak like we weren’t there. We didn’t get the cookies in the kids meal or any sauces so I had to go back to the counter repeatedly to ask. Just awful experience.

We had chocolate shakes with our meal. They are fantastic. Both of them were not very thick. Thickness is usually their trade mark. Pricing here has gotten insane too.
