Wow I left a review and it got deleted. I guess Dairy Queen did not want the public to see what I actually said. I would stay far away from this location. Very poor service. I will not go back

The owner was so rude.I was trying to order two blizzards for myself and my child. The owner could not hear me through the drive through. So I spoke up then he accused me of yelling at him, and then told me he would not serve us and refuse to take our order which ultimately made my child cry and get upset. And then when I went to the drive through window, the employees just looked at us and told me that. They were instructed by the owner that they were not allowed to serve us. Dairy queen , I would hope , does not condone this type of behavior and mistreatment towards children. I will never go back to this store ever again. The owner should be ashamed of how he treats children.

I visited the Dairy Queen on Palo Pinto Drive in Weatherford today around 8:20 p.m. and had a very disappointing experience. I ordered only a Blizzard and nachos through the drive-thru. I understand that fresh food can take time, and I've waited before without issue. However, I ended up waiting well over 10 minutes for such a small order. The parking lot was also full of other customers who had been asked to pull forward and wait for their food. When I reached the window, I told the employee that I wasn't comfortable pulling around because I wanted to make sure I received my order. She was polite, but she wouldn't give me my receipt, and I was still asked to move forward. I decided to go inside to wait, only to find that both lobby doors were locked—even though there were customers inside the restaurant. The lobby was closed around 8:20 p.m., despite the posted closing time being 10:00 p.m. No one came to the door or acknowledged that I was trying to come inside. I had to pull through the drive thur again only to be told my nachos were ready. Tge guy who finally did bring me my nachos was very nice. But yet again they didn't give me my receipt. This wasn't about one long wait. It was the combination of the excessive wait time, being asked to pull forward without even receiving a receipt, and finding the lobby unexpectedly locked while customers were still inside. It made for a frustrating experience, and I hope management addresses both the customer service process and the lobby hours so future customers aren't left feeling ignored. I saw the hiring sign on the door. Maybe this was training day which I understand I have been there but maybe we should be asking ourselves why is there turn over and why has upper management support not been offered to keep this a successful franchise.

If i could give this place no stars i definitely would. First off I dont know why they cant train the employees the correct way to communicate when they are taking your order. Second I ordered the chicken tender basket and the chicken looked like it had been under a heat lamp all day long, dry, rubbery on the ends and tasted like plastic dipped in oil, absolutely disgusting. And third, the wait time was horrible, 30 minutes! I will keep saying this, "its fast food, dont expect to much these days" and yet we still eat out right? Well this is one place I will never eat at again! Horrible customer service and terrible food, followed by your traditional trailer park atmosphere feel, i didnt eat my meal so what you see in the pictures is what i received. I strongly advise you to just drive by this place the next time you are out and are thinking this dairy queen sounds like a good idea. WRONG! Just keep on driving and find another place to eat. I'll let you be the judge, does this basket look like a meal worth paying for? Fries, toast and chicken look like it has been sitting under a heat lamp all day, absolutely disgusting, and look how small everything is. Remember when the chicken was a decent size, chunky and juicy, the fries were golden brown and the toast was toasted, not burnt. Now you get this small chicken, soggy fries and burnt toast, doesn't that sound amazing?! Think before you spend, because its not worth the money you work hard for.
