  I'm writing this review on behalf of myself and 8 other high school seniors. We arrived as a bunch and expected to be kicked out. Much to our surprise, we were welcomed with tremendous hospitality by Rhonda (an employee here). She was incredibly welcoming, polite, courteous, and excited to give us a tremendous graduation get together. Her behavior alone made our day. Good food, good service, good spot.

  Great bbq spot. Probably the best place in Waxahachie to get good fatty brisket. Tried to new poppy seed slaw and was not disappointed. I enjoy the outdoor spot they have for seating too.

  2 Meat Plate including lean brisket, sausage, seasonal slaw, potato salad, pickles, onions, bread and spicy BBQ sauce, no drink for $20.03 that included tax. Really good meats. The seasonal slaw was very good. The potato salad good. Bread fresh. It would be great if the potato salad and slaw were bigger servings like many other BBQ places I've been. Service really good. I've been here before late when they've run out. Don't recommend going close to closing time. Atmosphere 4 stars just because there's no indoor seating, hot weather and all, but if you're picking up food to go not an issue. Definitely recommend the brisket and sausage. The lean brisket did have some fat on, but it broke easily with just a fork. Spicy BBQ sauce wasn't overly spicy and added enough tang to know it wasn't just ketchup masquerading as bbq sauce.   Awsome service!! Kept asking us if we need anything and how the food was, Rhonda is the best, she kept checking in and was very helpful and friendly, I certainly wasn’t expecting to feel so welcomed, Recommend this place the food was fresh and so yummy , sweet tea is certainly the best!!

  My brother I decided meet at Waxahachie's Texas BBQ (HEB), for lunch. The Texas BBQ, is part of the HEB grocery store but is located separately from the actual store. It has has an out side sitting area. We walked up to the self ordering kiosk. We ordered the 1lb burnt ends, $24.99, but it no way looked like the container was an actual pound. The burnt ends were very tender, well seasoned and the sauce that came in was awesome. We also got two side orders a medium cream corn which was well seasoned and very tasty for $7.99 and a small brisket beans which were spicy but very tasty. We also got two drinks half sweet/unsweetened tea, $2.25 and HEB Dr. B half liter $1.00 total $43.00. We sat at the outside sitting area and when one the female employees came around asked how we were enjoying the food my brother asked why they did offer any paper plates she acted like he was speaking in a foreign language. She didn't even try to answer his question but just kept on walking away. Overall it was a good experience I would back again cause I really liked the food. Not the best and not the worse. The outside sitting area was very clean but it was communinal style sitting.
