  Today was my first time at The Burger Spot, and I ordered the bacon jam smash burger. It was a really tasty burger, but the red pepper mayo—while good—completely overpowered the sriracha bacon jam. Since it’s in the name of the burger, you’d expect the bacon jam to be the main star, but I could barely taste it. I also wouldn’t say this qualifies as a smash burger, as the beef patty was closer to a quarter-inch thick. That said, the patty was cooked well and stayed nice and juicy. I look forward to trying other items on the menu, but if you order this one, my advice is to ask for light sauce. This would be a situation of sometimes less is more.

  Best burgers my husband and I have had in awhile. I got the bacon jam smash burger - serrano bacon jam and roasted red pepper mayo! So tasty. I switched the cheese for pepperjack and added jalapeños. So amazing. Fries are delicious too. My husband got a classic and onions rings. Everything was delicious. There is a long wait about 15-20 mins, but the food is hot and full of flavor. I highly recommend.

  We tried 1 bacon blue cheese burger, and a patty melt on texas toast, and onion rings. 1 chocolate mousse and 1 Vanilla Panna Cotta with peach jam. Almost too much to eat in one sitting very good food.

  I get bacon cheeseburger every single time! It's off the charts good! So big eat 1/2 for lunch & the other half for dinner. Believe it or not, the second time is even better. The flavor just explodes in your mouth! 🥳😄😍 On a side note, hamburger meat usually tears up my stomach, but this meat is really good. I don't have any problems, so it must be top quality.

  Small location. Friendly Staff. Slow service, because everything is made fresh to order. Inexperienced Staff makes things slightly disorganized. Our first time here and it was good. Great selection of appetizers. Wonderful burger options, too many to choose from. The appetizer and food arrived hot and flavorful. Definitely need extra napkins because the burgers are a delicious handful. The onion rings, fries and sweet potato fries are great additions. The location was full. Only 1 person taking orders made the process slow. Another person was trying to clean tables, take orders and bring out food to guests. Drink dispenser was behind the counter so refills took a Staff member’s assistance. Overall this is one of the better burger options we have tried in the last 3 years here in Waxahachie. It is a little pricey but the flavor of the food makes it worth the trip. The desserts looked good as well. We will definitely be back.
