  After hearing people rave about the food (authentic Southern soul food kitchen), I absolutely had to check out Ida Mae's, and I am so glad I did! I had the meatloaf with Pinto Beans and Mac and cheese 😘 chef's kiss! The pinto beans took me all the way back to my childhood, I was in heaven 🥰 Service was great, people were so lovely 💓 Highly recommend you check it out. Worth the trip!

  Week day late afternoon, no one inside. We were served fast, friendly. My food was good, could have been reheated more, I did not like the Mac and cheese nor the water cornbread. My meatloaf was banging. My husband had piping hot chicken wings(3) and they were seasoned well. We try to always eat local, support local and we will go back.

  Excellent experience 1st visit we will be back... the veggies here are authentic There was a team effort to get all the customers cared for. Food was cooked to order. Service was amazing Ac needed to be cooler please (Momma Mae's southern home cooking) Smack your Momma Good! Big Richard

  The food was excellent! I got smothered pork chops, yams, and collard greens. Each was super tasty! It’s a small venue, so it may be tough to get a seat when it’s busy, but they also have outdoor seating. Service was friendly. I’ll definitely be back again!

  Curtis provided excellent customer service. I had the bake chicken, pinto beans, collard greens and yams the meal also came with hot water cornbread which I'm not a fan of but that didn’t stop the meal from being delicious 😋 My sis had the smothered pork chops, mash potatoes with gravy, greens, mac n cheese which she said meat was so tender no knife was needed❤️
