Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Perfect breakfast taquitos! And big kudos for the young lady extra attention to my order. It was g we tying warm outside but she had a big smile. Today is August 29th 2026 and the highs have been in the 100’s!

Staff openly cursing, ignoring front lobby guests, on their phones, and taking over 15+ minutes to compl a single door dash order.

In all honesty, the night shift crew is horrible, but there is one young man named Alexander, a driver, that shows so much greatness. From running around making sure everyone is moving productively to making sure everyone is on task and paying attention, this kind of leadership is amazing to see in a place like this. I’ve asked him a plethora of times where he sees himself, but he just says working here. He’s a man who will be seen doing everything in the store, looking like he has no help, and still serving people with a huge smile and a great attitude. I hope this Whataburger actually appreciates him because he is the sole reason I haven’t given up on this night crew, and for many others I know will say the same. I can very well say he is loved by most, if not all, consumers.

Came here around 11:30 p.m. and had to wait way too long just to be acknowledged. The only lady working was cussing at her coworkers, which made the whole place feel really uncomfortable. I also wasn’t impressed with how she was handling the food, as it didn’t seem very hygienic.

I go here with my kids all the time. My sons favorite food is whataburger (i am proud and ashamed at the same time lol). I prefer this location over the rufe snow /820 one. The location is cleaner and the food is always fresh.
Today, i had a great experience that forced me to give 5 stars.
My son left his bag of toys in the bench when we left the restaurant. He was having a meltdown when he couldnt find it and we called the restaurant on a whim - surely they didnt keep a target shopping bag full of papers and playdough. But turns out, they did. Michelle said they kept it for us and we went and grabbed them that evening.
I had to give 5 stars after this experience. Im very pleased.
