Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Slow service and poor management! Only person in drive thru and 20 minutes for one wrap SMH. Definitely will not stop at this location ever again.

Service was really disappointing. Staff seemed disorganized and it took way too long just to get a simple order. The food came out wrong and no one really seemed interested in fixing it properly. Definitely not the experience I expected, and I won’t be rushing back anytime soon.

There’s a ginger man, who is a manager.. which isn’t the problem.. But I ordered 4 kids meals and 2 orders of chicken bites.. but got charged almost $50, for a bunch of extra food that I didn’t need.. when I asked about it , he said it’s about the same price for 6 kids meals … kids meals, are almost $6 x 4 =$24.00 right ? Soo how in the world is it almost 50$ if they still rang me up for 6 kids meals(2 without drinks for some reason, should’ve gave me the drinks too..) but 6kids meals x 6 , still equals $36 …. Does that mean I paid almost $13 IN TAXES !!???
**I need answers and a refund for making me write this review.. 🤷🏽♂️💀**

I’m giving this location a 5-star rating—honestly, I wish I could give more. My dad and I visited the Whataburger off I-35 and Creekview on Thursday, April 16th for a late dinner, and the experience was excellent. The restaurant was clean, the environment was welcoming, and the employees were especially kind.
A team member named Bri took our order, and she was incredibly friendly and helpful. After we ordered, she let us know our food would be ready shortly, and we went to sit down. Our food came out quickly, and while we were eating, Bri was mopping near the entrance. She took a moment to check on us and asked how the food was—I gave her a thumbs-up, and that simple interaction really made my night.
Customer service like this is rare, and I wish it were the standard everywhere. Bri truly deserves recognition for her positive attitude and dedication. I hope the manager at store #1384 sees this!

I took my husband there after his hospital visit we asked for some extra time to order. We were still deciding as I can't eat properly due to my gastaparesis and we couldn't see the full menu so we had to look it up on the Internet. Before we could even speak sarcastically she giggled and said are you ready or do you need more time and yes it was just like that. The lady taking our order was absolutely rude she messed up our order didn't even properly hand me the bag let alone a straw for my shake. I asked her for the spite my husband ordered we didn't get it because she messed up the orders somehow mistaked large fries for a large sprite. I backed up went to the window nobody would even come to the window I never complain I can't handle a lot but when we are paying customers and respectful it's uncalled for especially when my husband is made uncomfortable due to being on medication and is deciding and no the cars weren't backed up and it 1000% unprofessional. I'm not posting the ladies name out of respect for privacy but it's service like that makes you not want to stop there for business . To the Worker if you are reading this as someone who has worked fast food and healthcare being tired, busy, slow whatever's going on at home you should never be like that to anyone. Leave that mess at home. May God fix you all the places you hurt. We will not be returning as we rarley get fast food because when not at the hospital I cook my family home cooked meals.
