Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Place orders on-line, still wait 20+min in the drive-thru as others pull up order and get served. So much for convenience. These people absolutely refuse to read a ticket on how to prepare sandwiches. It ain’t that hard to add jalapeños, or other items. C’mon people it’s just sandwiches, it’s not supposed to be this hard. Fast food workers demand $15+/hr work, and they can’t or won’t pull off $4/hr work. Disgraceful

I am just disappointed overall in all Whataburgers, since they've changed corporate ownership.
The food and service just aren't what it used to be. I dined here midday on a Friday afternoon.
It wasn't busy at all, yet it took my food 15 min. to be served to my table (small burger, small fries & apple pie). Everything was cold, the burger bun cold, fries cold & dry, apple pie stale.
I reported my disappointment to the front counter. They did replace the apple pie with a fresh, hot & crunchy pie (it was yummy) and I heard the manager tell the front counter to just apologize for the rest of the order and that's was it. I was very disappointed in the unprofessional management for that afternoon/day!

My door dasher went to pick up my food and they had lost the receipt and hadn’t made it.
My dasher called me on the phone and while otp I heard the manager and another worker speaking very disrespectfully to my dasher and they ended up snatching the phone to talk to me still speaking disrespectfully.
I went up there and order was still unresolved

I regret ordering from here because of how they treated my dasher and how I was treated after I came in.
There was one nice gentleman that tried to help me but I didn’t get his name.
He was tall, thin, and wearing an orange shirt with an inside out yellow vest!
He deserves praise for trying to help when everyone else was against it.
Needs new management and better training for situations like mine because they did not know what they were doing.

every visit is worse. i usually stop by after a long closing shift to get a fry, (only a fry.) and the wait time has exceeded 30 minutes on multiple occasions. this review is a long time coming. once, i went up to the drive thru speaker, only to be rudely told to wait a second by the worker. she never came back. waited about 10 minutes there before pulling around and going inside only to wait 20 more minutes on a large fry. tonight, i ordered on the app, like i always do, went inside to pick it up, was ignored for awhile, finally told them i was there for a pickup and told to wait. sat down and waited 15+ minutes and saw others getting their orders before i got up and asked about mine. was promptly ignored for another 5-10 minutes and when talking to another lady in line and mentioning i had been waiting awhile, the workers (two on one register joking around) started mocking me to eachother. i had been very polite, but anyone would be visibly frustrated at that point. after telling them again who i was picking up for, it took them about 5 more minutes to finally hand me my large fry. this has got to be my last straw (or fry).
