  Whataburger, a classic Texas  tradition. We stopped in on a rainy afternoon at the 24-hour Waco location on Bally mills drive. You can always count on any location to be clean with fast service. You can’t miss the iconic orange and white A-frame you can spot from the highway. I ordered the patti melt with cheese. My husband ordered the original, number 1, the Whataburger with cheese - made to order, big 5-inch toasted bun, fresh lettuce, melty American cheese, mustard. Customized no onion / no tomato and it came out exactly right - love the sticker system. You can see tent #41 in the photos - they still bring it to your table. Always made to order!! Bag says it right on it … since 1950. You can get the spicy or original ketchup for your pooping hot fries. The crew are always nice, quick even in a rush. It’s great for families or a quick Texas road trip stop. This is my go-to for a real Whataburger - not fast food, it's a Texas tradition…but expanding!!

  we were told to pull up to wait for our food after we paid. After 10 minutes and seeing three cars pull up behind us and get their food and drive off I went inside. They were just putting together our order. When I asked the manager why others behind us were served she replied she did not know what was going on. No apology provided for the wait. When we got home, our order was wrong. I called the restaurant and spoke with Jesse. He did not provide good customer service. Didn’t offer an apology for the wait or a messed up order. He just kept saying they would investigate, like I’m going to lie over a seven dollar meal. He said well I did offer to replace the burger. Which was fine, but why not also offer an apology. as an operating partner, he should have provided better service. He seemed more concerned with determining if I was honest or not.

  Ordered 2 Cobb Salads Ordered double chicken on both of them, but the amount of chicken was very light and had us waiting for like 35 minutes. When we called about it they claimed the cook made the order correctly and then hung up on us so we went as far as reconstructing the chicken patties and it was only one Pattie per salad. Lying for no reason is wild
