Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
This place is known for leaving things out of my order. Today I ordered a sweet & spicy bacon burger meal. There were no onions, no bacon, or fries, no utensils & no napkins.
When I called after getting home, I talked to Amanda & she did say I could have a free meal on them. It’s just so aggravating to not get everything that should have been included. Train your workers better.

I was very impressed with the service I received at this location. I had placed an order on the app and mistakenly placed it at the wrong location. When I realized my mistake and called and spoke to the manager. She very graciously offered to call the correct location and place my order there. It was ready in a few minutes. I so appreciated her professionalism in handling my error. I also want to give kudos to the manager at the other location. He was also very courteous in making sure my order was right. I appreciate both their efforts as it really brightened my day.

sat in the drive-thru for 20 minutes to get zero help, only for them to help all the cars except for myself. there were less than 6 other cars, so there is 0 reason why it should even take 20 to just order when they have 6 parking spots reserved for the drive-thru. every other time i’ve come here they are either extremely rude or constantly mess up the orders, on top of taking an extremely long top to make every order. save your time and money, eat somewhere else.

If this was just a one time thing I would not take the time to put a review but the last atleast 5 times I have gone to this location I have placed a mobile curbside order for lunch, placed the order at work, then drove to the location to pick up giving this restaurant over 10 minutes prior to me arriving to get the order together, pull up in curbside, and it takes an additional 20-30 minutes to receive my order, the first time I walked in and had to pick up from the counter after waiting for the 3 employees to stop talking and notice me standing there, the girl gave me my drink that was covered in condensation from sitting there for over 30 minutes, I asked about my order and she said “oh yea you’ve been out there for a while, I was wondering what was going on with it”
????????????????????????????????
Then she goes back and grabs my order that had been sitting under a heat lamp so long that the receipt was black from the heat. The next time I went through the drive through, was told that I am not supposed to pick up curbside in the drive through after waiting an additional 10 minutes from arriving to the restaurant, today was no better, I ordered at 2:58 and waited in line B until I was told to move to a space and received my order at 3:41PM. I will never comprehend how it is acceptable to any management for a double cheese burger and fries to take 43 minutes to get to the customer. This is the worst Whataburger in this town. Do not bother trying to get lunch here.

I hate this Whataburger. We moved to Waco in June 2025 around the time when this one opened and when I tell you within the year that we’ve lived here every single time we have gone here it has been an awful experience. They always get the orders wrong. I’ve been waiting for over 20 to 30 minutes sometimes for just two burgers. I just do not understand what is wrong with this place and I do not understand why the training is so lacking that the employees have no clue what’s going on. Every single time I want to scan for points or pay with the app they look at me like I’m showing them Latin scripture. They don’t even know their own system. I’m begging for this place to better train their workers and have a better system in place.
