  I paid nearly $40.00 for THIS, (oh, & a side salad)…. Would ANYONE ELSE pay that much for THIS?!? I even called the restaurant, thinking there was a MISTAKE!!! APPARENTLY NOT…..WELCOME TO ON THE BORDER…..where you are SERVED “ON THE BORDER MEALS”!!!!!!!!! MY ADVICE - STAY AWAY!!!

  So disappointed. We have given this location a try several times because we knew Pappas Companies bought them out and they are incorporating some of Pappasitos items. All three times we have had slow service and slow food and it was not busy. Tonight we waited over an hour for our food because the server didn’t get it submitted right. The manager never came over to apologize and the server said it was his 2nd day serving. They took off our queso, but we felt we should have had some of our meal comped. We will not be back.

  We had 8 people while they weren’t busy… they didn’t have enough help. The manager was clearing a space for us when another female manager came up and told us it would be a 30 minute wait. I explained the manager was trying to seat us, but she was firm about 30 minutes. When I told her we could not wait that long she rudely and simply said “ok”. On our way to leave.. we were called back in by the male manager and were seated. It still took 45 minutes to get food. We got there at 7:20 and were there past closing at 9:00. Server was great, food was great…… but rudeness matters!!!!!

  Hostess would only seat us at the bar in a restaurant. We asked for a booth or a lower table and we were told by the hostess that was only one available. My mom has balance issues from a procedure and just wanted to sit at a regular table! Mind you the restaurant was 90 percent empty but according the hostess the bar or the high top were only places we could sit so we had to leave and go to La fiesta. Visit on 05/01 at 5 pm.

  We were greeted and sat within a timely manner. But after that, we waited almost 10 minutes before anyone came to our table to take our drink order. I went to order the brisket tacos, and I was informed they no longer sell them. I have eaten the brisket tacos here for over 15 years. It IS the only reason I come here and I’m told I can no longer order it. Very upset. And then I order queso and wait even longer to get it. The waitress keeps asking if we’ve gotten it yet and I keep telling her no. We finally get it a few minutes before our food is delivered. Get our food, my enchiladas are COVERED in onions. I hate onions. I can deal with the cooked inside onions that I can’t see but there were chunks of them on top of my enchiladas. I have never had onions cover my enchiladas before. Just a very bad experience this go around and will unfortunately be my last visit here.
