  Sarah was our server all night on the patio. Drinks always full. Excellent service. She's fun and professional. Had the crazy wings and omg they were amazing!!

  Hmmm, okay this is my review. I've dined at the other George's restaurant located near Speight Ave in Waco and it was much better than this one in Hewitt. I ordered the English muffin with the butter on the side and the Chicken and Waffle breakfast plate. Real simple. Now maybe my expectations for a toasted english muffin are asking too much, but come on people, give the customer a "toasted" muffin and not some halved bread like thing, plopped on a saucer. And it wasn't even hot or warm to even put the butter on it to melt... Just laziness. When I got the second half of my order, I noticed the waffle was not hot and crispy, the chicken on top looked slightly over fried. I tasted it, and the waffle had a cakey undercooked texture to it, and the fried chicken had no flavor. It was bland and boring. I paid almost $12 for bland and boring. Nope, I won't recommend this place or return. And side note: There were several other major issues I could've stated my opinion on and posted photos about this place, but chose to use polite discretion and not add them to this review.

  Ordered something for pickup on their website. Got a text that it was ready at 4:04pm, but they didn't have my food ready until 4:40pm. The worst part is they kept telling me that they were in the process of bagging it up, rather than letting me know they were still waiting on food, and the hostess at the front tried to argue with me that they weren't actually late. I would have cancelled my order if I knew they were going to take so long.

  Food: fryer oil needs changing, main entree came out browner than my black boots, breading on onion rings fell right off as soon as you pick it up, tots looked gray in their dimly lit bar lighting. If you get the shrimp, be careful, it was full of shrimp turds, guess they don’t de-vein them that well in such a hurry to deep fry them. Service was fast, courteous, and very attentive; about the only saving grace for spending my lunch there. Atmosphere: as loud as a backyard concert with multiple TV’s showing whatever the ADHD sports inclined love to watch. Good enough to try, not that good for a repeat sesh. Meh at best. Already feel the indigestion. It’s an institution here so maybe I came at the wrong day, wrong time, and definitely wrong entree.
