Great food! Service was a bit slower than typical but still good. Outside tables needed to be wiped down

Order was delivered to wrong address by no fault to anyone. The Google address suggestion/correction is what messed it up. I walked over and got my meal from the other address si.ilar to mine. I sent a message to the washer that I walked over and got my meal as well. I didn't want to be on hold so I hung lol have a good day!

I had a wonderful lunch at Alpha Omega today. I ordered the lamb gyro, and it was absolutely delicious. I grew up raising sheep and eating lamb and mutton, so lamb has always been something special to me, but I don't get to have it very often anymore. Alpha Omega is one of the few places around Waco where I know I can come and enjoy really good lamb. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable, and Shae took excellent care of me. She was friendly, attentive, and made an already enjoyable lunch even better. Great food, great atmosphere, and wonderful service. Thank you, Shae and Alpha Omega. I'll definitely be back!

First time visiting this place. The food was great and everyone there was very friendly. Definitely going back. Want to try the desserts they had displayed.

I really wanted to like this place (I love to support local)-I do like the one downtown. I’ve tried it about 5-6 times (lunch and dinner, and one for pickup) thinking it would get better or if it was just a random thing or they had to get better help/cooks in the back…but the food is either VERY salty and not always fresh and/or overcooked (the meat—I tried all: lamb, chicken, steak, gyros, and gelato old-freezer burned🥹), TOO bland and too full of cheese and not enough of the main meal (eggplant—which was very very thin, chewy edges I could not cut and so bland—I could not taste any garlic or other good Greek flavors, and it was mostly cheese and some hamburger meat—only ate two bites and no one wanted it), tried the Greek style honey cheese croissant—sadly, it tasted like they warmed it in the microwave—wasn’t good and barely any good honey—all cheese, kinda rubbery. The olive tapenade and hummus served with fresh veggies was pretty good. The babaganoush was too watery, but tziki was the best—that was actually good and made well. French fries were really good…albeit greasy, but pretty darn good. Baklava was the best but I REALLY wish they made it with pistachios😋, because I’m allergic to walnuts, most people are these days😅, and pistachios have an incredible traditional flavor-a wow factor. 🤤 I had the salmon (just ok), and mostly just stayed with salads w/chicken-which is pretty good there when I meet up for lunch and no where cleaner around to go, too… not many good places around this area, unfortunately. Coffee was surprisingly bitter and lots of setiment on the bottom. That was disappointing, bc I love a good Greek coffee.😓I think this place has plenty of potential, especially with outdoor cafe, etc., Greek category of food 😍, but needs much better detailed management, better cooks. Everything needs a bit of tweaking. I won’t be going back anytime soon.😔
