  The salmon was really good and a good portion size as well. Also the house sweet red wine is good.

  I had the beef Wellington. A different take on the dish than what i expected but my compliments to the chef.it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.

  I accidentally left my purse at Alpha Omega Grill during a road trip, and I can’t thank the owner enough for her kindness. Since the restaurant was closed when I passed back through Waco, she went out of her way to bring my purse to her other restaurant, 1424 Bistro, and even met me before opening so I could pick it up. It was such a relief and meant so much to me. We had a wonderful meal at their other restaurant, Alpha Omega Grill, the food was absolutely delicious and this experience made us appreciate their hospitality even more. Although I didn’t get a chance to dine at 1424 Bistro, the atmosphere looked beautiful with a lovely patio. The next time I’m driving through Waco, I’ll definitely be stopping here for dinner. Absolutely exceptional customer service and a very kind owner! Thank you again Dorothy for going above and beyond!

  My parents had their 50th wedding anniversary while the whole family was vacationing in Waco, so we took them to 1424 Bistro to celebrate. The staff was wonderful and took excellent care of our party of 13, including kids ranging from 4 to 14. The food was great, too. I highly recommend the flaming cheese and their anise honey butter as an appetizer. The steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Would definitely go back.

  1424 Bistro is one of the best dining experiences in Waco! The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, making it perfect for a date night, special occasion, or a nice evening out with friends. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The service was outstanding, attentive, friendly, and professional from start to finish. What really stood out was the attention to detail in every aspect of the experience. From the ambiance to the quality of the food and service, everything exceeded expectations. If you’re looking for a great restaurant in Waco, I highly recommend 1424 Bistro. We will definitely be back!
